With one hand in his pocket, he stood in front of the glass wall in his office, drinking coffee as he looked into the ever busy Lagos road. Deep down, he was thinking about her, his peasant wife. He had seen the look on her face when he stepped out for work this morning. She wasn't wearing her usual cheerful smile, and her face was quite cold. He knew it was something related to last night and a smile appeared on his face. He couldn't believe he would get his usual breakfast at work, and somehow, he felt guilty for treating her so badly.
