As he stepped into the living room, he was greeted by the quietness of the house and he walked in slowly as he anticipated her presence. He saw Vivian walking into the living room and she walked over to meet him.
“Welcome home, sir” she greeted.
“Where is Alex?” He asked with a deep voice.
“She is not yet back, sir” she replied.
He kept silent and walked over to the stairs.
“Should I serve your lunch, now?” She asked but he ignored her and walked away immediately.
After taking a shower, he dressed up in a white shirt and black shorts. He crawled into the bed and laid on his back tiredly as he gazed at the ceiling.
As the cold from the air conditioner swept through his skin, he exhaled deeply and dragged the duvet over his body. He looked at the wall clock and it was 1:09pm already.
