“I like your place,” I said from the hard bed. My skin brushed against softness. I sat on a blanket made of fur. Very soft. Possibly rabbit, as it was sewn together: black, white and brown. I couldn't help but smooth my hand over it. “It makes my heart glad to know you like my place.” He looked around himself. “It brings me serenity when I am alone.” He looked down at the fire.
