Chapter 28 - ReprieveI woke thinking it was yesterday. Then, when I knew it wasn't yesterday, I wished I could go back in time and maybe things would have turned out different.
Darkness in my room lulled me into believing it was okay to roll over and stay in bed. But then I realized I still had my clothes on. My clock told me it was only 10:05, and the PM light was on. Voices in the next room affirmed my Knowing that people were still in the house.
