She probably saw him kissing my head and thought this was disgraceful. I didn't need to read minds to get this from her. It was all on her face. I turned the cart away and wheeled it to the end of the aisle, then I pushed it toward the frozen section, Dante at my side and Lindee shuffling along in the too-big boots. “Lindee, this is Dante.
