CHAPTER EIGHTEEN NOVEMBER 25, 1960 Today I got a letter from my friend Kenton, who’s been on my mind a lot lately because of all the racial strife that’s going in the country. n*****s and sympathizers are getting injured everywhere, so I told Murray to warn Kenton that being a n***o is a dangerous predicament right now. We’re all hoping Kennedy can help matters some. Murray said he’ll watch Kenton’s back if anything starts brewing back in Scranton, but I wish I could be there, too.
