Mr. Werewolf Meets Ms. Mystic

CHAPTER 2— AT THE CASTLE

“Good morning your highness, you’re late” one of the ministers said

“I’m sorry for the inconvenience lady’s and gentleman’s, let’s proceed to our important agenda for today” my mother said, seriousness in her voice

“Okay, so as you all may know, we’re forbidding a fairy, specially the rolays to fall inlove or even make contacts with the werewolves and other kinds. Making in contact with them can start war or create -------” I cut him off by speaking “Peace”, “I beg your pardon, Princess Zineriah” one of them speak with a shaky voice.

“You see, most of you would like to believe that werewolves are the ones causing or starting troubles in between us, but did you ever realized that all the wars happened because of everything we did and everyone we forbid, like me or all the royalty out there, a royal id fairy is only allowed to love someone with a royal blood, don’t you think it’s kind of unfair for us?” I said, angry and sad at the same time, I mean like who wouldn’t right? They are implying rules that shouldn’t be implied.

“I think this meeting is enough, all of you may go hom---” I cut my own mother off

“Excuse me your highness, why are you telling them to go home? And why suddenly cutting the meeting off?” I ask still polite

“Princess Zineriah, follow me we need to talk and to everyone here, I’m so sorry about this. We will re-schedule it and I will make sure that the Princess wouldn’t make any troubles anymore.” My mom assured them

“No! No one is leaving this room not until I SAY SO!” my words left everyone in shock “SIT DOWN!” I added that made all of them sit.

“GUARDS THE PRINCESS IS OUT OF CONTROL AGAIN!” the Queen yelled but as the guards are rushing to get inside, I raised my hand and wave my hand “Forbid the traitors to enter, to touch a princess is f*******n” I chanted, and they all bumped in the invisible wall made by my spell HAHAHA.

“I-IT’S THE ENCHANTED WALL!!!!” I heard someone yell from behind. Enchanted what now? I don’t know what they are talking about.

“She’s the one? But how? The Princess is born with two fairy bloods, so how come? Unless” I heard someone say

“It’s nothing everyone, I’m sure someone else is doing this to frame my daughter.” I heard my mother. “Zireniah! Are you insane, take that wall out in an instance. That’s an order as I’m the queen and not your mother!” she yelled at me frustrated.

“Oh wow! You? The Queen? Since when? I can’t remember anything that you have done on this land ever since! Yes, you are the Queen, Queen of pretenders, and you mentioned you’re my mother? How? Ever since I was a kid, you have never done anything for me! You never cared about me, you only cared about your power and your thrown!” I yelled, tears streaming down my cheeks already. After that I raised my hand and again waved my wand “For the wall unseen, reveal a stream let them feel, the anger and betrayal they did!” I chanted and just as the wall’s about to collapse, Ash held my hand, and her eyes signaled me to calm down. After realizing what I’ve done, I immediately fixed it “For my magic to undone, as anger entered. Keep the wall unseen and keep everyone safe. Go back under until my next call, for everyone life to be unfold.” I chanted, and I saw the wall returning to its original fixed form and slowly going back underground. I looked at them pleasing and I apologize to everyone, except the Queen, my own mother. I held Ash’s hand and waved my wand, and in just an instance we are back in our comfort spot.

“Just rest for now Niah, you’re tired.” She said and flying into the door “Don’t keep it but never release it at once because it can cause something bad.” She added before going out.

While Zineriah is alone in her room, she recalled everything she had done earlier and can’t she still can’t believe that the little enchantment she made really made a wall appeared, but she have no idea that the wall she called it is called the Wall of Kruptos, according to legend, the Wall of Kruptos is an enchanted wall and only the Chosen Princess can make it appear. The princess with two different clan blood.

Zineriah is full of questions and still confused. How can she be the Chosen Princess, when she always disagrees about the Queens decision. Myths believe that only the child or princess with two different bloods can make the enchanted wall appear. That’s what left her confused. She knows that she is a child of two same blood. Fairies Blood. So how can she be the chosen one. She just sleeps with all the questions, she doesn’t know how to answer.

“Hey Niah, wake up” Ash’s soft voice woke up Zineriah.

“What happened?” she asked, hoping that everything is just a dream.

“You made the enchanted wall appear Niah” Ash said, scared but still trusting the Princess “Are you okay? Are you feeling weak? Or something” she added, worried.

“Yeah, why are you worried? What is this enchanted wall? And why are all the fairies who saw it seemed shock?” the Princess asked her trying to answer some questions in her head.

“You see it’s been decades since someone made the enchanted wall to protect fairies from humans and other clans. The Queen with werewolf and fairy blood, she’s a great Queen, she’s soft, she’s kind and all of the fairies love her. Not until one day, she lowered the wall of Kruptos. The Wall Of Kruptos that she was using to hide all fairies from humans, she let her guard down because she fell in love with a human and because of that, fairies were exposed to the human eye. Humans started capturing fairies, and some even killed some of our kind, because of what happened, the fairy godmother used her own magic to make a gate, dividing both worlds, and punished the queen for her rushed decision that led to the deaths of almost all the fairies.” She explained to me.

“But why are they so afraid when they saw me making the wall appeared?” I asked still confuse

“The fairy godmother cursed the wall with the Queen, legend said, that who ever can make the wall appear again, might bring chaos or peace to all the dimensions and the human world.” she said

“So, you mean to say that I might be the one to bring peace or chaos between werewolves, witches, fairies, mermaids, elves and humans?” I asked starting to understand it.

“Yes, that’s right Zineriah, but it’s too risky, specially about what you’re planning.” She answered me. Yeah, I’m planning to escape and live in the mortal world.

“If you wouldn’t mind me asking what happened to the Queen that broke that rule of never letting the wall down?” I asked

“She was thrown into the mortal worlds, with a little power left, she can come back home, If and only if she can complete all her task given by the godmother.” She answered me “Anyways let’s eat dinner? I cooked already.” She added.

While eating dinner Zineriah still can’t believe anything that had happened. She doesn’t understand how or why she became the chosen on, after all both her mother and father are fairies. Unless they’re hiding something.

“Princess, are you alright? You’re zoning out.” Ash asked me that made me return to reality.

“Huh? Yeah, I’m just thinking about something” I answered

“Oh! Finish your food already and get some rest so you’re not zoning out here at the table” she said her voice is muffled since I’m zoning out again

“Hey! Are you listening? I said we’re going out tomorrow, we need to restock other supplies” she repeated “Are you sure you’re okay?”

“Huh? What? Uhm yeah, I’m fine.” I answered her. I’ll just go back to my room; can you clean this for me please I’ll just rest.” I added and saw her nod

“Yeah sure, rest well.” She smiled at me “Zineriah, you can do it, I’ll be here for as long as I can.” She added that making me smile.

“Thank you, Ash, I know you’ll always be there!” I said and then run to hug her.

I entered my room and lay down on my bed, I was staring blankly at the wall with lots of questions in my mind. “Why?”, “How?”, “Since when?” that’s the questions flooding my mind right now. I stand up and tried to use my enchantments to dig more. “Bring me to the past, for my questions to be answered at last.” I chanted with lots of focus and concentration, but whatever I do I always feel that someone is stopping me from returning and finding out the truth. As I tried different spells and enchantments, I slowly felt weak and I felt my eyes getting heavy, I lay down again and stared at the ceiling and out of tiredness I closed my eyes and everything went black.
