CHAPTER 6 — IN MORTAL DISGUISE

“Zineriah wake up please huhuhu” Ash’s cries woke me up

“Why what happened?” I asked her

“Help me clean my room” she said “And ate Cy is looking for you downstairs” she added

“Okay I’ll be down in the moment, but do you really need help with your room?” I asked

“Yes please”

“Okay, I’ll get through it before we leave” I said and saw her smile, she looks like a little kid

I went down to look for Ate Cy, since Ash told me that ate was looking for me “Hey Zine, are you looking for something?” I heard a voice behind me I looked behind and saw ate Cy

“Yeah, I’m looking for you, Ash said that you were looking for me, why?” I asked her

“Yes, I was looking for you. I need help in the garden if you wouldn’t mind?” she ask

“Let me just take a shower first then I’ll be right with you” I answered her

“Okay I’ll wait for you outside” she said smiling

“I won’t” I answered

I went back upstairs and took a shower, I wore the same clothes since its still clean, with a bit of magic of course, after taking a shower I went down and saw ate Cy digging some holes and planting seeds.

“What do you need help with ate?” I asked her

“Oh, you’re there already, sorry I didn’t see you. I need your magic to grow these seeds I planted” she said

“Sure, just a moment” I said and took a step back to gain energy “Con el poder que usare, este Jardin crecera en gracia y dara un aroma calmante y una vista hermosa a todos los que lo vean” (With the power I’ll use, this garden will grow in grace and give a calming scent and beautiful sight to everyone that’s gonna see it) I chanted and saw that the flowers grow indeed in grace “Estne id totum qoud tibi opu est?” I asked in a latin way “I’m sorry I didn’t quite catch that” she said

“Oh, I’m so sorry, is that all you need?” I asked translating it for her

“Yeah, it is, thank you” she said

“Intus ero si me opus fuerit” I said in latin

“I can’t understand latin Zineriah” she said

“Oops, disculpa se me paso, no quise harcelon, de todas formas estoy aqui dentro si me necesita. Perdon otra vez” (Oops, sorry I forgot, I didn’t mean to, anyways I’m inside if you need me. Sorry again.) I said in Spanish

“Okay, I’ll just call you when we’re leaving” she said

After growing the garden, I went inside, I went inside Ash room to see it as mess “Quid hic accidit?” (What had happened here?) I asked her in latin “Videris quasi ab aliqiua re oppugnatus sis” (You look like you’ve been attacked by something) I added

“Pestes, a muribus, blattis et cimicibus oppugnatus sum” (Pests, I’ve been attacked by rats, cockroaches and bugs) she answered me looking mad, she’s cute HAHAHA “Adiuva me, sodes” (Help me, please) she said

“Certe, sed potesne paulisper exspectare? Vires miho recuperandae sunt, c*m in mundo mortalium simus; magia mea non est infinita” (Sure, but can you wait just a moment? I need to regain my energy since we’re in the mortal world, my magic is not unlimited) I said

“Scilit principissa, omne tempus quod tibi opus est sume” (Of course Princess, take all the time you need) she said, I just smiled at her ad went out to look for Orion

I saw Prince Orion int the basement, so I sneaked out behind him to scare him, and it worked. I saw how shocked she was when I touched his shoulder.

“What are you doing here, Prince Orion?” I asked

“I thought I heard something down here, so I got down to check it out” he answered me

“Oh, is that so? Let’s get out of here, it’s kinda creeping me out HAHA” I said

We’re about to get out when I suddenly heard a whisper calling my name from inside the closet here in the basement. I held Prince Orion’s hand and told him that I was creeping out because I heard someone call my name.

“Where?” he asked me, and I pointed at the closet and saw he’s using magic to peek inside

“It’s protected by the couple, I can’t see anything” he said “Abre la puerta, y lo que dentro del armario esta oculto sera revelado” I chanted to open the closet door, but my enchantment came back me, and I immediately felt weak “What happened to you?” Orion asked me, wow now he’s worried. “M-my magic was taken back “ I answered

“Let’s get up there” he said

As we are leaving, I heard the closed door open when I looked back, I saw nothing, but as I went back to the stairs a glowing light emerged. I looked at it and saw that there is a book glowing, I approached it, I don’t know why but it’s like controlling me. The book landed in my hand and just opened on its own that gave shivers around my whole body, I felt a cold breeze as it opened. Again, questions running thru my mind “What is it doing in here?” “Does the couple know about this?” “How long was it here?”, I kept asking myself, when it emerged a light and I saw enchanta’s coming out, I read it allowed I can’t control myself.

“Libro de encantado con oscuros” I rad, that’s the title of the boos I opened the first page and read what’s inside “Las sombras del passado te perseguiran, a menos que dejes ir el dolor y la locura, y encuentres a la Reina que comparte lo mismo”( The shadows from the past will hunt you, unless you let go the grief and madness, and find the Queen that has the same) an encantation or a sign?? I asked myself I continued reading it “Tu fe está sellada y pronto morirá, pero se romperá cuando encuentres a quien la causó” (Your faith is sealed and will soon die, but it will be broken when you find the one that caused it") that’s what the second page stated at the last page I was taken a back, it glow a dark light and I felt weak “Sufrirás una maldición, hecha por alguien que fing” (You will suffer from a curse, made by someone who pretends) that’s the sentence I read before I was thrown into the last step of the stairs.

“Hey Princess” Ate Cy greeted me, I’m now in my room, maybe I just overslept and started dreaming

“Gosh, Es solo un sueño?” I said asking ate Cy

“Que es solo un sueño?” (what’s just a dream?) she asked

“Uhm nothing.” I said hesitant

“Good, well then, help ash to fix he room and after that we can go out” she said, is that an order or plead?

“Uh, yeah sure I will” I answered her

I got out of my room and went inside Ash’s room.

“Hey Ash, still need help with your room?” I asked her

“Yeah, will you help me already?” she asked sweetly

“Yes, let’s start” I said, “I’ll just use the same incantation I used in the same room, is it okay with you?” I asked

“Yeah, as long as it’d make my room clean” she answered me “I’ll get out first to get you snacks Princess, what do you want?” she added asking me

“Please call me ate Niah you can’t keep on calling me Princess other people might find it weird; just coffee and sandwich for me” I answered her

“Haz ques esta habitacion este impeccable y limpia, barre y quita el polvo para que quede reluciente” ( Make this room spotless and clean, sweep and remove the dust so it sparkles”) I chanted using the same chant I used in my room “Arregla todo lo que estra roto, desde muebles como este armario y cama hasta la ventana, piso y techo, haz de edto un cuatro dulce y comodo” (Fix everything that’s broken, from furnitures like closet and bed to the window, floor and room, make it sweet and comfortable room) I added and saw it become fixed.

After I went out of Ash’s room and went down to the kitchen, I saw her preparing my food and her face immediately lit when she saw me. I don’t know if her face lit because of fear or excitement because I saw her putting a powder dust in my food, I didn’t knew she know somethings about spells nor about magic dusts so how come?

“Ash snap out of it, what are you putting in my food?” I asked but she didn’t respond like she didn’t hear nor saw me. I thought for a minute and remembered the spell ate Cy used at lunch earlier.

“Despierta, alma dormida, rompe las cadenas, vuelve a la luz, recupera tu fuerza y sal de ester letargo” (Awaken, sleeping soul, break the chains, return to the light, regain your strength and snap out of it) I repeated the same spell ate Cy used on Orion

After I recited the same spell, she snapped out of it and asked me about what happened, I just told her to sit down, she sat down but passed out immediately. I yelled after she passed out.

“ATE CYYY SI ASH!!” I yelled fearing for my friend

“What happened?” she asked worried

“After fixing her room I went out here in the kitchen and saw her putting something in my food, the food she promised to prepare for me. I noticed that she was like Orion, so I decided to use the same spell you used and she calmed down, as she was about to speak she suddenly passed out” I explained

“Bring her up to her room” she asked us “Zineriah, stay please. We need to talk about this” she asked me, and I nod, I looked at Orion and assured him It’s fine.

“Looks like someone’s interfering with your mission” she started, I looked at her confused “ A fairy with the same task is trying to get you out her way.” She continued

“But why?” I asked her

“Because, out of all the fairies sent to find the cursed Queen, only you have the highest potential to find her” she answered

“But who are they? Or who is it trying to interfere with my mission?” I asked

“Those who are sent first before you” she said staring at me
