Flirting With Death.

Chapter 3

"Wake up girl!", someone called out and poured a bucket of chilled water on me. I was already feeling very cold before being drenched, so I was obviously drenched and shaking from cold.

When I got up, I saw a man with a black face mask, wearing a brown leather jacket and a pair of blue jeans, holding the empty bucket.

I could see the room clearly as it was morning, it looked like an abandoned warehouse as it had a lot of boxes packed in there.

I also saw two other men seated on two boxed in one of the corners of the room, one with a gun and the other, a camera, ready to record me.

"W-w-what is g-going on?"I stammered,

"Shut up and move!" He yelled as he pushed me to the ground. The camera man had already started recording. I fell flat to the ground and started crying, he pulled me up by my hair and walked me to a chair infront of the two men.

"Sit!" he ordered as he sat me down and tied me up. Still recording.

"What is that stupid name you have?"

The man with the gun asked, I refused to answer.

"Huh?" another chipped in.

"S-sonia." I whispered, "Dad's name?" he asked, "R-rahul De-nnoro V-vladimir" I answered, still shivering from cold and fear.

"Mr Mayor, Mr Mayor, Mr, Mayor."the man with the gun repeated, using the gun to hit his left palm after saying each word.

The man with the camera then moved it up to the guy in the leather jacket and he spoke, "Mr Mayor, we've got your sweet little daughter,..." he wiped of a tear rolling down my cheek with his middle finger and continued, " ...and only 100 million Bulgarian Leva can save her, or else, throw me that," the gun was thrown over me and he caught it, "What is this used for? Does any of you know? Huh? Huh?" He added and laughed devilishly.

"Done" the camera man said after pressing a button on the camera.

"Well that, is what it's used for", was followed by a gunshot from behind, which rendered the guy asking the question dead.

I screamed and cried louder when I heard the gunshot.

As the shooter walked closer to us, the other two guys got up and the camera man said, "The video's done Boss." handing over the camera.

I guess that's the EM, but he had a black face mask on too, so I couldn't see his face nor his long ears.

He knelt down next to the man he had shot earlier and said, "I hope that answered your question?"

He took the camera and said to the men, "Deal with this." pointing to the dead body.

They took the dead body away, leaving the two of us alone.

"Baby girl?"he knelt down by me and called, I refused to look at him as I was still in a shock.

"Look at me girl." he said softly, I refused, turning my face to the other side.

"Look at me!" he yelled as he turned my face to his direction.

Tears continued rolling down as he yelled.

"I told you I don't like it when you cry, didn't I?" he asked, I nodded.

He wiped off my tears with his fingers and asked "What's your name?"

"S-sonia." I whispered.

"Sonia." he repeated and took out a laptop from one of the boxes. He turned it on and sat at where the two guys had sat, facing me.He put it on his laps and started typing.

Can't he see that I'm shivering? I thought.

He raised his eyes and glanced at me as if my thoughts were written all over my face.

He was on the laptop for a while, he then opened the camera, pressed a button and watched the video recorded.

"Not bad." He said after watching, he then typed a few more words on the laptop and shut it down.

I kept looking at him, even though I couldn't see his face, wondering how he sleeps at night. He's so evil, I never knew people like him ever existed in this world.

"What?" He asked when he realized I was looking at him.

"Cold." I replied.

He put the laptop back into the box together with the camera and left.

My body felt stiff on the hard chair and I could feel the coldness spreading through my bones but he seemed not to care. He was already gone.

"What is wrong with this monster, does he want me to die of cold?" I asked myself and sneezed twice.

"Oh no! I'm going to fall sick." I added.
