"According to them, there was just a dummy who replaced Brandon. I'm sure it's all that Lance's doing..." Everybody turns to look at Dean who stops mid-sentence. I can't see him with everybody standing in front of me but I think he has stopped because everybody is staring at him.
'And what does he mean 'It's all that Lance's doing'? What has Lance done now? And where is Bree?' My heart races with all the thoughts that run through my mind in these milliseconds of hearing Bree's name along with Lance's.
Everyone slowly turns to look at me and even Dean smiles but what was needed to be heard has already been heard. What they wanted to hide is already out. My eyes settle on Leo before I ask,
"Where is Bree?" I ask and everyone just starts looking at each other.
