It wasn't supposed to feel this way but I couldn't sleep all night. Jeannette wasn't home and I didn't know for a fact,where she was spending the night.
Yes,she mentioned Camille's place,which I wasn't sure of,cause, from the background,I heard other voices.
What if she headed somewhere else? Was...Cole around?
Rage burned inside of me when I thought of all the negative ideas popping in my head. Painfully, I drank myself to sleep.
My night was tormentous. I kept having nightmares of losing the company to tax debts,sprinkled with that of Jeannette being in the arms of another man.
When I got up from bed,I took my phone to dial her number. It rang severally but she didn't pick up.
"You spend the night at Camille's,yet you can't even pick your calls",I mumbled angrily.
