Something is wrong with Alex

1016 Words
Freya heard Noah's loud and terrifying voice before she could see him. s**t!! She was in deep trouble. She turned round and pushed Matt away. She saw him standing there fuming, the anger in his eyes had been perfectly conveyed in his voice. He was standing there glaring not at her but at the man behind her. She swallowed hard. She had told him not to wait for her at the airport, she wondered why he did? As always doing exactly what pleases him. He started walking towards her. Her thoughts raced wild and she couldn't think if one thing to say. "What is it Freya?" Matt asked her as he watched her anxious face. She looked at him and tried to force a smile but dailed woefully. Her eyes wore a dreaded look and she looked tired all of a sudden. Noah strides were closer and Freya wished the floor would just open up and swallow her up. It was better than facing Noah right now. She turned to Matt and mumbled inaudibly. "I need to use the rest room, I will be back soon." And with that said she ran off to the airport restroom. She could feel Noah's cold eyes and Matt's worried eyes on her but she just needed to get away. ***** Elfie opened her eyes and discovered that she'd slept almost three hours. She bolted up right, blinked severally and tried to clear her head. Pain ached through her whole body. She took a look around and saw just Lauretta sleeping peacefully on the cushion. She struggled to sit up and pain ran over her body. "Ouch!" She muttered as she climbed out of the hospital bed walking towards her bag which was kept on the table beside the chair Lauretta was sleeping. She was tiptoeing to avoid waking her up. She took out her phone from her bag and stepped out to the hospital corridor, closing the door gently. She smiled. Proud at her successful plan of not waking Lauretta as she turned, she came face to face with someone who had a smirk on their face. She paused. **** Alex went back to the hospital after a successful shoot for the grand opening of the Jewels model shoot. She had done everything so fast and smooth just so she could come back to the hospital. Here she was watching her smile like a child who just completed a task that deserved candy. She stood behind her with a smirk on her face and when she turned, they stood face each other. One with a surprised look, the other with a conspiratorial smile. "Hi!" Alex said "Hel..lo!" She stammered out nervously clutching her phone tightly to her chest. " Seems you are feeling much better, huh!" Alex blurted out after some minutes of silence. " Yeah. Yeah I am." She replied and smiled. Alex could swear her heart rate went up. God! This lady was beautiful, so beautiful that anyone's heart would probably raced when she smiled at them flashing her beautifully made teeth's at them. "Alright! I just came to check on you and see if you are feeling better." Alex said finding it hard to say anything reasonable at this moment. Elfie looked at the lady standing before and all that ran through her mind was where she had met her. Her face looked so familiar but she just couldn't place it. She could see the lady looked nervous and she herself was nervous. "Except for the pain in my head, I guess I have never been feeling better than this." Elfie replied with a slight playful frown and Alex smiled. "Where are you sneaking off to?" Alex asked. "Oh! You caught me. Well I was just coming out here to make some calls and I didn't want to wake up my friend." Elfie replied as she took a quick glance at the seat in the hospital corridor. Her body was still in pain and this standing here with a stranger who seemed familiar and with a voice that did some numbers on her body she could faint at any moment. Alex caught her quick glance. "Do you want to sit?" She asked directly pointing at the closest seats. "Yes please." Elfie muttered and immediately moved towards the seat dropping her self down like one who had run a marathon. She was weak and the pain in her head still made her dizzy. The beautiful lady dropped down beside her, not to close but close enough for them to have a decent conversation. "Do you mind?" Alex asked. "Not at all."Elfie's replied then continued quickly. "My name is Elfie." "Oh sorry. Forgive my manners. I haven't introduced myself properly." Alex replied quickly. " I am Alex, Alexandra Holt." "So Alexandra..." "Please just call me Alex." "Do I know you?" Elfie asked ignoring the "just call me Alex".... That sounded to sexy to her ears. "Uhmm...not really." "Do you know me then?" Elfie asked staring directly at her and just when Alex was about to respond her hospital room door opened and Lauretta barged out. She stopped as she saw them and the worry on her face cleared up a bit. "Here you are!" She said with a smile. "I was scared for a minute that someone had probably kidnapped you but thank God you are here with your heroine." Elfie looked a bit confused. Alex just smiled. "Please call me Alex, Ms Lauretta." "Hi Alex." Lauretta said and smiled widely. " I guess you haven't introduced your self properly to my friend seeing her confused she looks. Well Elfie this was the young lady who saved you from that weird ass fellow at the club's ladies room." Elfie confusion cleared up a bit and she smiled at Alex and said."Hi my heroine." Alex could swear she melted at that beautiful, innocent and pure smile. Nobody has ever smiled at her like that. Nobody. She stood up abruptly and walked away ignoring their calls her her. She had to leave this place. Something was definitely wrong with her.
