Alex could see how anxious the model was and she knew this would probably take some time.
"Let's take a break." She told her crew.
"Yes boss." Her assistant replied signaling at the tensed model. "We are taking a break." He added to the confused looking model.
Alex walked over to her office and sprawled on the comfy sofa knowing fully well that Levi would follow. But she wasn't really bothered about that, her head was filled with the lady she had met at traffic today.
Damn!
She was so beautiful that she had been stunned when the lady had asked her the time.
Shibal!
She had become so shy that she couldn't even trust her self to speak. Now she regrets not getting her number or anything at all.
She wanted that lady, she really wanted that lady but how to go about it now was going to be a problem.
She got of the sofa to get a drink, she needed it to get her self in the game.
"Alexandra." Levi her best friend and assistant called.
Oh how she hated being called that. "You know I hate that right."
"I know but do I care right now, No!" Levi retorted frowning his face like her dad."what's going on? You have made the model so tense up that she can't seem to strike up a pose."
" You know I didn't do s**t, the model is just not a professional at her job." Alex said as she poured herself a drink.
"She would have been, if you hadn't been all grumpy and telling her lots of self loathing words.." Levi replied as he took a seat watching Alex drinking with a smug look on her face. He grimace something was definitely up with her.
Suddenly she faced the window and smiled to something amusing that Levi was yet to know. "I met someone," She said
Levi glanced at her " Someone,"
"Yes, someone." She replied coming to sit at the sofa.
"So?? who is this someone? president Obama?"
"Geez! Levi can you be less aggressive."
Levi retorted " I would have been, if we weren't late on this project already. Alex this pictures are due for a brand promotion in three days time and here we are speaking about meeting someone."
"Oh come on, I have one relapsed today and you think I can't deliver the job."
"Yes! if you hadn't had a relapse when you broke up with Chloe last month we wouldn't be rejecting client because we are yet to finish up works already paid for."
Alex closed her eyes. It was happening all over again. The name Chloe always triggered her for some reason that she couldn't fathom, people insisted up bringing up her name.
"Let's just get back to work." She said dropping her glass cup on her table.
Levi didn't hesitate knowing he had hit a nerve. " I reckon that would be best."

The smell of freshly painted art works greeted Noah as he stepped in to the art gallery. No surprise there; the owner of the art works had made them specifically for him. Even so, the art gallery he was visiting had made sure to repaint other art works, knowing Noah, who was personally an art lover in Lordsville, would appreciate them. The art was simple, probably much of it had already been in place. Noah was grateful for that as well. The fact that he could afford to buy a brand-new art work with all the tiny details taken in to consideration did not mean he preferred it. An art of simplicity and fresh ink was more his style.
As usual, his staff had taken care of everything from securing one of the most prestigious art gallery to aligning them with exactly what he wants. Noah stared at the displayed art and nodded his approval. His people knew his likes and dislikes, right down to the kind of people he liked dealing with. His gaze shifted from the art work and to the red head giving details of the displayed art work.
She seems to have all information he needed on all the art work, the best at what she did so he heard from his mum. Noah hoped she wasn't one of those gold f*****g diggers who was always trying to impress him. First , they act intelligent. Like people who know exactly what they are doing and then boom they show their colors like cameloen's.
" Is this all the art work?" He heard his assistant ask.
"Yes it is." the red head replied.
" I will take all." Noah said. The red hair lady shifted her gaze to him and he could see her hid a grin. " I will leave it to you, Scott let's go." As he walked off he could feel her eyes on him or was he just up in his head.
wait!
Why was he even thinking about her? That's weird.

"Omg girl, you just got the deal on a platter of gold." Fiona said grinning.
"Yeah, I guess he was really moved by my presentation." Elfie said happily," Thanks to him I won't be getting fired" She added teasingly.
" You should definitely be grateful to him," Her boss Lauretta said. " cux I was about to fire your ass. What made you think you could come to work so late on a day we had a million dollar deal, ten million dollar deal."
" I am sorry Mrs Lauretta it was traffic, terrible traffic. Traffic in lordville's is something else, I am thinking of moving to some where else."
" Or maybe she could have just woken up earlier, ever thought about that." Mrs Lauretta said with a huge sigh. " I am serious With this Elfie if I had lost this deal, I would have fired you and made she you never get a job in Lordsville or everywhere else."
"I am sorry ma'am, it will never happen again." Elfie replied pleadingly.
"But for now, congratulations on getting J.J Art Galleries a ten milllon dollar deal that will pave way to more if it goes smoothly. As for you Fiona, inform our other client that we will not be available for any work related issues today, we are going to the club to celebrate." Mrs Lauretta said happily grining from teeth to teeth.
Elfie smiled wholeheartedly atleast today wasn't just another day in her life, today was good. Too good to be true.
