once Alpha Ryder and his gang left I farted inside before my father could ask me what that was about. I ran upstairs and quickly grabbed my phone and called Shayla. I was pacing around my room begging her to up the phone. Finally after about 10 rings she answered.

Omg what took you so long to answer the phone.. she said she was eating dinner and what was the emergency. I tried to calm myself but I was so excited and nervous at the same time Shayla had become my best friend she the only one who new I was gay and didn’t treat me any different and now I was going to tell her who her dated mate was who the moon goddess has chosen for her… will she be excited, nervous or will she be mad. I got pulled out of by Shayla shouting hello down the repeatedly… I then laughed, swallowed hard and explained about Alpha Ryder turning up with his gang wanting to know who she was and all that, whilst explaining what was going on I could hear Shayla listening intently I was sure how she was feeling. After I finished I quickly asked if she was ok.. she didn’t reply for a few minutes so I let he absorb the information, when she finally replied all she said was Alpha Ryder my mate it’s like she was in a trance. Then she said she had to go an quickly hung the phone up before I could speak anymore.

How do I even process what Xavier has just told me.. the notorious Alpha Ryder is my mate, how does he even know I don’t even know. I didn’t feel anything nor did my wolf mention mate, come to think of it calli was stirring a lot when we smelt the mint choc chip and oranges which Xavier couldn’t smell… was that his smell? NO Alpha Ryder can’t be my mate why would the moon goddess mate me with some one like that? I have 5 weeks to find out for sure but I don’t want to wait that long I don’t want me plans to be ruined by some mafia thug Alpha who is gorgeous no no no. I’m sitting on my bed processing all that has happened in the last couple of hours, how me a Xavier had said we will come of age and then speak with other Alphas who have no heir to see if they would join us and help change the laws of the land as we needed to get more support and Alphas and luna support for this to start to work. Whilst I’m away with my thoughts my dad knocked on the door and said we had a guest and could I come down. I have a quizzical look, before I could say anything else my dad was gone… I started to walk down the hallways down to my fathers office and was greeted with the smell again Mint choc chips and oranges…. My feet stopped moving I had butterflies in my stomach Alpha Ryder was here, was he coming to take me away to be his Luna? I straightened myself I am not leaving and I’m not going to be a luna of another pack they can’t make me I won’t go.

I opened the office door and inside was my dad Alpha Rocco, Alpha Ryder I assume no one else was in the room. My dad told me to sit next to him on the sofa and Alpha Ryder say opposite with a small grin on his face. He seemed very smug, cocky, muscly gorgeous, his brown hair styled amazingly, he was dressed in navy blue suit trousers a white shirt matching blue waist coat and tie, my thoughts now trailing down the wrong path… focus I told calli. My dad asked Alpha Ryder if he wished to explain to my what he had already discussed… Alpha Ryder sat forward pulled at his sleeve to straighten himself out he just oozed appeal before he had many she wolves drooling at his feet… calli was now growling. I sense Alpha Ryder could see my torment in my head… he decided to get straight to the point… Shayla I’m your fated mate Alpha Ryder of the Blood moon pack, I’m aware now you are 16 17 in 5 weeks, I will be back the day after your 17th birthday to take you with me to my pack. That was it he looked smug, my dad was silent why wasn’t my dad saying anything was he scared, no this ain’t happening, I got to my feet my dad got up an so did Alpha Ryder, I was fuming now, my cheeks turning a red colour my dad was mind linking me to calm down.

I stepped forward and an calmly stated to Alpha Ryder that he will not be coming back to be and I will not be accepting as my Alpha EVER. With that I saw his eyes turn dark green he was now angry , my dad then said I think we need to leave this here Alpha Ryder you may leave now my dad did not back down when Alpha Ryder got up into his face, he looked over at me and said I will be back and left slamming the door.

I fell down crying, hurt, upset and angry… my dad came to cuddle me and by now was hysterical telling him no no no don’t make me go, he said he wouldn’t let me do anything I didn’t want to, then he continued to hold me shooing me to calm down.

I must of fell asleep cuddling my dad from crying so much as I woke up in my bed but don’t remember coming her, I turned over and checked my phone it was 2:08am lucky it was Sunday, I had 4 message from Xavier asking if all ok and to call him when I can, I call him in the morning, I had another message from Skylar asking if I’m ok and I’m so lucky to be mated to someone like that. Take it everyone in this house now knows. I rolled over trying to go back to sleep but all I could see was Alpha Ryder in my mind and how gorgeous he looked but how s**t his attitude was.
