Chapter Three

Prince Rudolph's POV

I called my secretary to come and pick me up, I can't believe that girl just slapped me and threw my own money at me.

I thought they all want money. I don't know why but I'm curious about this lady. I called my secretary again and told him "Hey I want you to check the CCTV footage in this place, I mean check for the footage of this floor and look for that girl that was brought to me yesterday night. I want you to run a full background check on her" I cut the call immediately after I finished talking.

I know the dude is already tired of me right now but he can't complain. I mean I'm paying him and also he needs me to survive.

I dressed up and went downstairs so I can go back to the Palace. The waiter called to my attention and started saying "Your Majesty pls we to apologize for our mistake yester night, we didn't know how the mix up happened we are sorry your Majesty".

"Mix up, what mix up?" I asked him.

He then said "Your Majesty I don't know how it happened but the girl you saw in your room last night was not supposed to be there".

"Oh...... No need to explain, you're fired and also tell everyone on duty last night that they are all fired including the manager, since you all decide to be incompetent" I said and walked out.

So that's the reason why she was all I don't know what you're talking about this morning. Well all the same they are all Gold diggers

I got outside and my secretary was already waiting for me, I got into the car. He entered the car and said to me "Sir I have some information about Miss Camila Andre". While saying this he gave me his iPad to see the info he has about Camila

Her history came clean, She was the First daughter of Fredrick Andre. It showed that Fredrick had a wife Maria but after the birth of Camila there was no trace of Maria not dead not kidnapped. It was like she disappeared from the surface of the earth. That was strange.

He owns a small construction company. I went further to look at her stepsister and her stepmother. Nancy Andre, she looked familiar though, oh I remember she is one of those low life prostitutes working in my club. Wow. I could bet a million dollars the her parents does not know of what she's doing.

Then her stepmother Stella Andre, Her background looked okay. But something caught my eyes. It shows here that she was Fredrick's personal assistant. I guess she took Maria's husband from her but where is Maria that was the question roaming my mind.

But I didn't ponder on it for long after all it is non of my business.

I said to my secretary "Hey Gideon, Take me home" he looked at me and said "Which home sir?". "My home of course" I snapped at him

"Sorry sir, I just asked because the Queen said I should bring you home since you are not taking her calls" he said shivering.

"And I say take me home is she paying you or I am?" I asked him

"You are paying me sir" he said still shivering "Then take me home" I shouted. He started the car and drove me home.

Camila's POV

I got home and entered the house, when I entered I saw everybody in the living room I wondered why they all sitted in the living room.

I greeted dad "Good morning dad, what's going on, why is everybody here"

He looked at me angrily and said "Where are you coming from"

"Dad I'm coming from a friend's house" I wondered why he was angry

Dad scoffed and said "And she's lying to my face, do you really think I wouldn't find out?"

"Find out about why dad, I'm confused" Really what is going on?

"Your sister here told us that she has been watching you for sometime and she found out you were frolicking with men at Stars club" my dad spat out with so much anger.

"Frolicking with men at Stars club, what the f**k" I looked at Nancy who was standing behind dad and shivering like she was scared, the f**k she can't fool me with her pretense.

My stepmother chirped in and said "Camila, what are you lacking in this house, why have you decided to disgrace you father like this?"

"I didn't disgrace anybody ask you daughter who the real disgrace is" I was Furious now how can Nancy come home and change the story

Nancy is the one working at Stars club, she set me up and that was not enough she comes home to tell my dad bad things about me

"Really Nancy after setting me up at the club you dare come here and frame me" I was ready to devour that little thing into pieces.

Nancy pretended to be scared and said "Why would I do such a thing, I've just been noticing that you were going out more often so i decided to monitor then I found out that you have been giving your body to men at Stars club. I didn't do anything bad I just told mom and dad about it so they could stop you from doing that to yourself"

Is this little swine serious right now, How did she even cook up all these lies overnight. I was too shocked to say a word, I thought what happened yester night was the height of her hatred for me but this... this is extreme I can't even believe it my self.

My dad looked furious "After all I've done for you, you still sold yourself to men and lie against your sister"

"Dad how many times do I have to tell you, I didn't do it. Nancy here is lying against me. she framed me and she's lying against me now" I said at the verge of tears

"Really" Stepmother said "Then explain all these pictures" she said as threw some pictures at me

I took one of the pictures on the ground and looked at it......... I saw myself on the picture with a man I don't know

"Who is this, this can't be me and I've not seen this man in my life" I said but my stepmother stopped me by hitting me really hard on the face.

I couldn't believe what was happening how could dad not believe me, I didn't blame him though I mean he saw pictures but at least he should give me a listening ear or even a benefit of doubt.

"Your punishment will be seizing your monthly allowance, you wouldn't be getting it for the next six months" My dad said and walked out angrily.

Why.. why did have to take my allowance I mean Stepmother has been cutting the allowances before giving it to me imagine not getting it at all. And this was the reason I started working with Mr Jacob at his restaurant

I stared at Nancy with so much resent. I never thought she would do the things she did to me yesterday and today

I know she hates me but I didn't see this coming.

I went into my room and cried myself to sleep

Someone tapped me and I woke up.... I saw Nancy looking at me, I wanted to ask her why she was in my room but she started laughing I wondered what was funny

"So you think you can get dad to will half of his property and I'm here, why would he want to give you half of his properties then me and my mom should share the other half, why does he love you so much when you're nothing more that an adopted child" she spat with venom in every word.

I laughed "Now I see..... "

"Yes, I overheard dad talking to his lawyer about his will and I will do everything possible for you not to get a dime from him" she said.

I looked at her and scoffed "So all these pretense, lies and deceit are for dad's properties".

"Yes.... and I will do everything and anything to remove your name from that will even if it's to chase you out of this house I would gladly do it" Nancy said looking at me with disgust.

"So you are this wicked, well I'm adopted so I don't feel entitled to any thing here you can have all of it eat and digest since it makes you feel better" I said with tears in my eyes "Now get out I don't want to see you bloody face"

She laughed and said "I will go but be advised to stay out of my way if not you will be out of this house in just a twinkle of an eye". She left my room.

I cried again why was this life so cruel to me.
