44. The Well of the FolkAndor made the journey to Carn Deas for the third time in almost as many days. He was accompanied by Mharcus, Branwyn, Marsaili, and the Eagle Rider Leif, though he flew with his Eagle, Jormandar, for most of the way. They rejoined the other scouts at the edge of the forest, where Marsaili swapped places with Rook. Together, the four people, the Eagle, and the Cat-Sidhe made their way across the moors to the mountains beyond the fortress. They gave Carn Deas itself a wide berth, since Tahke and Skarandar had both reported an increased presence of Brathadair on the walls after the previous night’s events.
