30. Negotiations“Coming to lend a hand?” said Rook. Branwyn looked up, startled. She had been so intent on watching for Aiden’s return, she had not seen the big man approach. “There’s lots to do,” said Rook. Branwyn stood. “I’ll help in a bit. There’s something I need to sort first.” “Alright,” said Rook, giving her a puzzled look. “Come and find me when you’re done.” Branwyn nodded and moved away. She had wanted Aiden to come with her, but he must have been held up. She could not afford to wait any longer. She needed to find Corradin before they left. Weaving away through the tents, Branwyn made sure she was well out of Rook’s sight before making any move towards the Ahote village.
