As she turns on the familiar road leading to her home before she knew what was happening the ground began to shake violently, caught off guard and Scared she ran in her panicked state she slipped as she was falling the ground seemed to open up just to swallow her sara thought as she hung onto a scraggly but sturdy little tree pulling up with all her strength she got her feet on the ground narrowly escaping certain death really got Sara's adrenaline pumping she ran as fast as she could to her home the ground still shaking as she got there and even as she began crawling into the basement desperate for some kind of protection. Little did she know that was of no use, the shaking stopped. At first, she thought everything was okay, everything was silent letting out a breath of air she didn't even know she was holding in. She relaxed slightly at the thought of the earthquake being over, but then she saw the little cracks on the floor suddenly getting larger and she started worrying.more somehow knowing it wasn't over she froze in fear hugging her little dog she prayed but to no avail Then a loud thunder like sound cracked the silence within split seconds the house all at once came crashing down , she was spinning, hitting things, the sounds of her screams echoing, taunting even dancings in her ears as everything else is soundless except the voice she soon realized was her own thoughts they were ringing through her ears loudly an clear as day “this is not how i'm going to end” those were Saras last thoughts before darkness overtook her. When she awoke, everything around her was unfamiliar and her house in pieces looking up many thoughts ran through her mind the main one being how am I alive she whispers to herself, confused and in shock she hears a low whimper barely loud enough to be heard over her own hectic thoughts following the sound to a piece of broken house she already knew it was her dog unbarring him quickly her hands shaking as she picked him up she could see his leg was badly injured other than that he was alright grabbing a slightly torn up bag she gentle sets moto into it making him as comfortable as possible looking at the unfamiliar surroundings around her mind wonder's to the stories she heard as a kid there was a place called they called it the dark forest, she was told never to wander there for in the dark forest live creatures of unspeakable horrors. But she had thought those silly kid stories walking at a faster pace she began to worry more and more she searched but found no way up the steep rocky walls. Getting more and more scared she started to panic. She didn't know what to do although she didn't want to believe it as darkness got nearer, she slowly accepted that getting home was going to be much harder than she originally thought.. Now panicking she started running but she only saw trees tired beat up and hungry she felt defeated Sara finally lays slumped down on a tree silently letting a few tears slip down her cheeks as she lay her dog besides her she felt the heaviness of her eyelids and her aching feet and she welcomed the idea of sleep laying down almost instantly sleep takes over as she sinks into the dream world her thoughts from the day still running wild in her head. When Sara awoke from her slumber she could heard the birds chirping the light was shining through the leaves to her it was mystical and hypnotizing and her fears of the forest from the night before seemed silly for how can something so beautiful and calming be dangerous Sara thought as she stretched an breathed in the morning air.
Deep in her gut she still knew something was wrong and she had to watch her back at all times.Sara....Well one thing about her is determination. She's not the type to give up and when she sets her mind to something she usually accomplishes the task. She was yet to know at this time but she was stronger than she even realized
Reaching down to wake moto she stops a confusion look on her face as she walks around the tree and calls for her missing companion when he does not show she starts walking in search of him she had walked down a little trail calling his name still no response
