The Broken Badass part-8

I was waiting in the living room for the boys. Since they were getting they're newly designed rooms we all changed ours. 

Knock knock

I got up and went to the door to see Jack and his gang.

"Hey come on in. Guys get down!" I yelled. The guys came in and everyone came down/

"Okay let's start the tour starting with your room," I told them I started walking upstairs and they followed.

"Ok first Jack's room"

"Woah! This is awesome!" Exclaimed Jack I chuckled. 

"Put your stuff down and will show the rest of the house." He did as I say 

"Ok next to Jack is my room"

"Nice," Said everyone 

"Ok let's keep going. Ok, Tyler and Ryan you guys are sharing this room." They both groaned

"Oh shush you'll like it."

"Awesome! I call this bed!" They both yelled at the same time. 

"Ok next is Alex's room," I told everyone and saw Tyler blush. Ohhh someone's got crush anywhore...

"It's so pretty!" Taylor screamed 

"Ok next we have Austin"

"It's great!" He exclaimed throwing his stuff on his bed.

"Next we have Taylor," I said making Austin slightly blush. Well, would you look at that."

"Eeeeee I live Tay!" Alex screeched giving an ear-piercing scream and a smile and head shake from Tyler. 

"Next! We have Ret"      

"Nice man" Zac told him

"It. Is. Jacobs turn!"    

"Nice! It's killer!" He exclaimed jumping on the bed while throwing his stuff in a chair.

"Come on we still have more rooms Zacs,      

"Nice" Ryan told him while patting him on the back I looked closely and saw a little tinge of red in both of their cheeks. Score!

" Ok follow me!" We walked down a narrow hallway "This is the gaming room, the weapon room, the theatre, the security and hacking room, and last but not least the safe room. It is sealed airtight, can't get in or out without a passcode and fingerprint we'll put yours in now, it has an air system so we can breathe for as long as we want, and it is equipped with food and water to last us for months, and has a secret bathroom." I finish explaining and put in all of they're fingerprints.

"The password is 24824 or b***h whichever one you can memorize" they all nodded.

"Ok, I'm going to make us dinner so your free to do whatever you like." They all nodded and ran off except... Jack.

"Hello," I said

"Hey you know I can cook."

"Oh, really that means you get to help me," I told him

He chuckled "I guess so." I ran up the stairs into the kitchen.

"What should we eat?" I asked him.

"How about Rigatoni with Italian sausage?" I froze that was me and my mom's favorite dish. Before she died.

*flashback*

"Hi, mommy watcha doin?" I asked her

"I'm figuring out what to make for dinner," She said looking down at me with one hand on her chin and one on her hip.

"What do you think we should make?" 

" Rigatoni with Italian sausage!" I told her giggling. She laughed.

"Ok."

*Flashback over*

"Avery, Avery, Avery!" I looked at who was calling me and in front of me was a concerned-looking Jack.

"Y-yah?" I asked 

"What happened?" He asked me

"Nothing I just uh-um-I I" I felt tears trying to come free but I didn't let them. I was suddenly pulled into a pair of arms it was Jack I breathed in and instantly smelt the woods. My favorite spot. I smiled hugging him back. 

"How about you go to your room and take a refreshing bath and I'll cook dinner I'll call you down when it's done." I signed but nodded I tried walking away but my legs started buckling. I was scooped up into Jack's arms and felt myself being carried up the stairs I held onto him and buried my face into his neck.

"You didn't have to do that you know," I told him.

" I know but I wanted to." He walked into my room and he put me on the toilet and he started the bath. I smiled. He put my bubbly soap into it. 

"There you go are you going to be okay?" He asked me.

"Yeah I'll be fine," I told him.

"Good" he walked over to me and gave me and gentle kiss on my forehead. "I won't push you to talk about what happened but when your ready always know that I'll listen. He kissed my head again and left. What was that? I shook off the feeling and stripped off my clothes and stepped into the bath. I just laid there not really in my body just in my own little world. I started to think about everything Jack. My mom, my dad, one of my monsters Travis, Aiden just thinking of his name made me cry he didn't deserve anything that happened to him he was only 2 I started shaking. I felt myself sinking but I couldn't swim back up. I started to get dizzy and spots clouded my vision. I heard my name being called but I couldn't do anything about it anymore. Out of nowhere I felt myself being pulled out of the water and a towel is wrapped around me I still couldn't hear anything all the words we slurred and fuzzy and my vision was blurry. I closed my eyes and tried to focus my hearing. Once I could hear and my first thing to say was.

"I'm fine." And I blacked out.
