Daisy’s POV
I walked down the stairs, surprised to see Liam standing by the door, holding a small parcel in his hands. His brows were furrowed as if he was deep in thought.
“What do you think you’re doing?” I asked from behind him, my voice playful.
Liam flinched, almost dropping the package. The way his shoulders tensed and how he swallowed nervously only made me burst into laughter.
His reaction was priceless. I was so glad I got him real good this time.
“Umm… umm…” he stammered, struggling to find the right words.
I shook my head, still laughing. “Relax, I’m just joking.”
