If I said I wasn’t shaken up by what happened earlier, then I’d be the biggest liar in the world. I was terrified. I truly believed that was going to be the end of me. The end of everything I had ever dreamed about. The end of my chance to tell Daisy how I really feel about her. The end of ever earning back my aunt’s forgiveness.
