The moment the moon gives a bit of light to the sky, Lora flee the room and find the way to her hostel after she had slip some notes into the pillow he was resting on, she was so discreet in order not to have him wake up else she won’t be able to have a look at his face

Thankfully her car was at where she parked it and she got in fast so she could reach the hostel before people start to move around as she doesn’t want to be seen as the mess she is right now, the car ignited almost immediately and she had one last look at the house before she drove away.

“Am I regretting my actions?” she said to herself driving as fast as she could

Finally she had s*x, not with Fred, not with someone she loves but with her ex-boyfriend best-friend, can things get more fascinating than this? Not once has she thought she would lose her virginity so randomly.

But then it seems to her as the best way ever to get her perfect revenge on Fred, the fact that she gave to another man something she didn’t give to him for years of togetherness, even when he yearns and begged her for it, giving the same thing so easily to his bestfriend is her perfect way of easing her pain, atleast now she will feel at peace.

She drove to the house and quickly park the car, before getting out, she nose around to see if there is anyone around, seeing she’s safe, she quickly got down from the car and make a run for the door

The moment she got into the house she breathed out in relieve and wanted to walk into her room when the light went on almost scaring her lungs out

Sarah stood beside the switch and stare deviously at her, it looks like she slept in the house unlike many other nights, and her eyes scrutinize her all over like she is trying to find something on her

“Just coming in?”

“Are you my guard now? Mind your business” she said and made for her room

“Did you have s*x with Justin?” she blurt out making her halt

Lora pull her hair to the back a bit and turn to Sarah who is standing with crossing her arms

“It’s none of your f*****g business” she said and turn to walk away

“You weren’t able to do it, of course you are Lora Carver, you are a coward who doesn’t take any risk, and you think flirting with Justin will make Fred jealous that he will want to have your ass back”

“Actually I f****d with Justin yesterday and it was sooo good” she said and went into her room bang the door.

Lora fell into her bed as she let her head relax from all what happened, last night was so long and she feel like falling into a long deep slumber.

Last night party….

As Justin drags her away, Fred couldn’t beat urge to go after them but the moment he stood up to follow after them, Sarah’s already waiting hands show in front of him obstructing from moving out of the table

“Where are you going?” she asked

Fred tried to think of what excuse to give her but not able to think of any, he reluctantly sat down and grab a cup of drink to quench his anger, while Sarah had her eyes filled with apprehension watch over him.

When she wanted to dance she got up and pull him along for a dance together but he rebuff her and sat still instead waiting for them to come back, it has been so long since they left and he wasn’t feeling comfortable with it

Soon he got up from his seat when he saw Sarah was lost on the dancing floor with another guy and went after Lora and Justin, walking few feet, his eyes caught them dancing with their body clinching closer than necessary

Fred didn’t realize when his form an angry fist but before he could charge towards them, he watch them lock kiss and his brain went wiped for a moment, with his clutch fingers, he turn away and went out of the room, leaving the party.

Dancing for a long time now, Sarah feels tired and wanted to share a drink with him but couldn’t see him anywhere, she held the two cups of drink and went in search of him all over the place, yelling his name through the room.

“He left”

Sarah turned to Alex and a frown appeared instantly on her face, she definitely doesn’t like this girl and she didn’t hide it

“What do you mean?”

“Aren’t you looking for Fred? He left in his car minutes ago” she said and went over to her to take a cup

“Fred can’t leave without me” she said confidently

“He left looking a bit infuriated after seeing Justin and Lora having a good time” she explained and took a sip

“Hmmm, what drink is this? It tastes good”

“I can’t believe this” Sarah answered shaking her head to show her disbelief at her word, she drop the call and took her phone to call him but the phone rang on the chair where they were all sitting at

Picking up the phone, she cuss in in hate at the fact that she was actually dumbs here because of Lora, she took her purse and exit the party room.

Alex watch as she leaves in fuming loud, she shouldn’t do anything since Lora’s friend but then making her do the job will be better, afterall both of them are enemies now and Sarah is already a b***h who steals her best friend’s boyfriend, it wouldn’t be so bad to have her do more bitchy stuff like ruining Lora, will it?

The car came to an abrupt halt in front of the fallen motorbike while Chess manage narrowly not to have her forehead hit the steering, getting her conscious back, she got out of her car and saw the struggling rider trying to get the fallen bike off his body but it seems impossible as the heavy mechanism was resting on the rider’s laps

“Are you blind?” Chess yelled at the rider

She was about to pass through when the motorbike came out of nowhere and clash in front of her almost causing an accident, thank goodness for her fast reaction

“You should have checked before bumping into me psycho” she scold

Few people who gathered around them after seeing the incident stare in shock and irritation as the rude young lady who couldn’t apologize or help the rider out

Chess look around the watching eyes and felt uncomfortable with the unfriendly stares, she wanted to get back into her car but the little crowd might beat her up if she do such

in order to avoid trouble, she ask for help and the rider was pulled out of the bike while someone called the emergency number but before they arrived she offer to take him to the hospital instead to save time.

Waiting impatiently for more than an hour, the emergency treatment was finally done and Chess was allowed to go into the ward he was place in

She got to the bed to see a handsome younger guy, she didn’t get to see his face earlier because of his helmet, and he looks a bit scruffy but still handsome, Chess stare at his sleeping face for some time before taking her seat beside his bed

“Hey?” she called and his eyes open slightly but it seems difficult to open them as he close them almost immediately

“Are you okay?” she asked

He tried to nod his head to answer but that seems difficult too and he gave it up, Chess called to a nearby nurse to ask questions and she was told it will take sometimes for him to heal as he hits hard on the ground

After paying the bills, Chess decided to leave with a promise to come back later to visit him, driving back home, she got home to her already worried mother

“Where have you been?” she asked checking her body all over

“Relax mom, I’m fine” she assured

“Why were you late then? You got momma worried”

“I got into some accident” she said and her mom gasp in panic

“You said nothing happened, how…” she turn her body around again to check for any injury

“My car almost hit a careless driver, he bumps into me…”

“What a reckless foolish driver” her mother lamented

“He got injured so I had to take him to the hospital and wait a little longer” she explained

“Ooh, that unusual of Chess Page to care”

“Whatever mom, I’m tired” she said and walk sluggishly to her room

“Besides, he’s younger and handsome” she said and close her door before her mother get to her

The next day, Chess got dressed taking extra care into her cloth as she drive to the hospital to visit the bike guy, she has promised and she should keep her promise despite her mother asking her not to bother about it

She got to the hospital keen to see him, the way to the ward room was easy but when she got to the door, she stops hearing some cheering

Chess place her ears on the door curiously to find out what is going on and the familiar voice she hears made her more curious

Before she could grasp something meaningful from their discussion, the door fling open and she almost lost her stand but regain her steps looking at the person in front of her

“Chess?” Sean called surprised

“hi Sean” Chess waved nervously

you know each other?” the third person in the room cut in smiling

Chess who has seems to forget him, glance at him, getting infected by his smile she smiles back pleasantly

“Hi” she greeted and walk further in

“What are you doing here?” Chess asked him

“Why are you here?” he throw a question back

The two remained silent not answering the thrown questions until Tex breaks the unfriendly atmosphere and gave them the answers they want

“She’s the one who helped me here and this is my brother” he explained

“Brother?” Chess asked looking at Sean now

“Well, not related” he answered again, seeing the look on her face, he wanted to explain more but Sean stop him

“There’s no need to explain”

“and” he directed to her

“I will pay you back for the hospital bill, there is no need to come here again”

“why? I was the one who hit him and it’s my responsibility” she resorted and walk closer to the bed taking her seat on the chair

Sean walk to her and pull her off the chair aggressively and pull her out of the room into a closed space, he throw her to the wall and pin her to it

“don’t play games with me” he warned

“what games?” she asked feigning ignorant

“if you tell anyone about what you heard…I will kill you” he threatened

Chess look a bit intimidate, she wonder what he thought she heard when she hears basically nothing, but then she wont let this opportunity fail again

“that will depend on you” she throw back summoning up courage

“what!”

“I’m the one with the big card here, don’t threaten me or else I will be force to play my card” she warned

“you are such a…” he wanted to cuss at her but stop himself and went back inside closing the door behind him

Chess breathed ou in relief and smile happily, this is the second time she will caught him in a tight spot, the last time has been about the relationship between Sarah and him and now a secret she doesn’t even know

Though she isn’t sure how big of a secret it is but she will just seize this opportunity to get close to him.
