MikeOnce I heard the shower running, I sat on the bed in Lauri’s room. Being there, in her bedroom, didn’t bring about the claustrophobic grip that always came when I went home with some girl. Something about being their place messed with my head. Pictures of themselves scattered throughout the place would try to convince me they were more than just the girl I was going f**k for the night.
