I didn't remember falling asleep in Matthias' arms. But I remembered my dream. I was on the run again. As a matter of fact, I literally ran in my dream. Someone chased me. I tried to escape from them because I found myself sprinting through the forest. As I ran, the trees and shrubs were a blur. My dream was so vivid that I could almost smell the forest. I earnestly wanted to look back and see who the hell I was running from. My heart was beating so fast in my chest, I was terrified. Was someone trying to get me? Who was I kidding? Of course they were. They wanted to have me completely disappear from this narrative that we call life. At least, that seemed to be the narrative of my life at the moment.
