It's interesting just how fast life changes from day to day. Even though some days we don't realize it, but if we looked back, you could see how dramatically things changed over a period of time. I couldn't help but notice how much closer I got to Matthias. I also couldn't help but notice that feeling in the pit of my stomach. That feeling that kept gnawing at me that Demeterius was up to something; and that something was no good. Demeterius, my alleged other mate. I mean we all felt it, the mate bond, the mate connection.
