“What’s wrong? What has you so upset?” I asked Darlene after I found she had walked out of the banquet hall I saw her swallow hard before she could reply.
“His not remorseful about what he did to me! He acts like he didn’t want to have me killed. He can’t even ask if his daughter is alive or dead. I mean what kind of man is he?” She said choking back the tears that was about to fall
