Darlene’s POV
I rushed out of the restaurant to my car like something was chasing me. I got in my car buckled up and turned on the ignition driving off to the hospital.
Every second I thought about my phone call with Rose I increased my speed like I was racing against someone. I blamed myself for being so careless, for a minute I thought I was cursed.
“Darlene it might be any second, minute, hour or tomorrow.!” Rose’s words kept ringing
I wondered how come? He was okay this morning. At least that’s how he looked like.
