EPISODE 2:MY FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL

[Finally, Elite has arrived to Florida.She picked a taxi to the hostel.When she entered the hostel,they showed her her room and her roommate Angela was in the room.They introduced each other]

ELITE:[Knocking at the door]

ANGELA:Wait a second,Coming.[Opened the door]

ELITE:Hi!

ANGELA:Hi!how may I help you?

ELITE:I'm Elizabeth Perry and actually I supposed to be in this room.

ANGELA:Oh great!Come in.

ELITE:Thank you.

ANGELA:You're welcome.Are you feeling thirsty?so that I can get you some water.

ELITE:Don't worry,I'm fine.

ANGELA:U sure?

ELITE:Yh

ANGELA:Kk cool.I guess you're new here.So where are you from?

ELITE:Well!I'm from California.

ANGELA:Wow!that's a nice city.So why are you in Florida?

ELITE:Actually I came here to continue my schooling.

ANGELA:So which basic level of school are you attending now?

ELITE:Actually I'm a Secondary School graduate and I'm moving to college that's why I'm here.

ANGELA:Kk nice.

ELITE:Please what do you do for a living?

ANGELA:Actually I'm a student and I attend school at JACKSONVILLE COLLEGE

ELITE:Oh really!I think that's the school I'm looking for.

ANGELA:Oh that's nice.Nice to meet you.

ELITE:I'm so happy that we're attending the same school.It's been a great pleasure to meet you.

ANGELA:Same.You're welcome once again.

ELITE:Thank you.

[The next morning,ANGELA and ELITE are dressed up for school.Elite look at the mirror nervously coz today is her first day at school.She's wondering how her day is going to be at school]

ELITE:Whoa!Can't believe it in my own eyes that am going to college today.Oh God!please help your daughter and protect her from the hands of the enemies.AMEN.

[Phone call]

MRS.PERRY:Hello sweetty!

ELITE:Hello mum!

MRS.PERRY:How are you doing dear?

ELITE:Great!Buh I don't know today is my first day at school and am getting nervous.

MRS.PERRY:Don't worry Sweetty,you're going to be fine okay.I wish you all the best at school and don't forget to put a little smile on your face after dressing.Coz you know you're never fully dressed without a smile.

ELITE:Thanks mum.

ANGELA:[SHOUTING]Elite,we're almost late for school.

ELITE:Just a second.Mum I've to go now coz am getting late for school.I'll call yo back when I get back from school.

MRS.PERRY:Okay no problem.I love you Sweetty.Just take care of yourself.

ELITE:I love you too mum.Goodbye.I'm coming just a minute lemme get my bag and let's go.

ANGELA:Wow!you look pretty in that uniform.

ELITE:Thanks.

ANGELA:Seriously girl,you're just like a peace of cake.Alright!it's time.Let's go.

[ANGELA and ELITE exit]

[Now ANGELA and ELITE has arrived at school.Elite's reaction seem to be like she has a fear in her heart and she has this shyness in her body.They got down from the car.ANGELA had to assist her to the headmistress's office.Looking at the faces of the students,everyone started staring at her]

STUDENTS:[Gossiping]Wow!that girl is really beautiful.

ELITE:[To Angela]Why is everyone staring me at me?

ANGELA:Coz you're beautiful and it's possibly that some of the boys have started crushing on you already.Should I link you to them?

ELITE:Lol!I'm fine.

ANGELA:lol!

[Knocking at the door]

MISS CAROLINE:Yes,come in the door is open.

[ANGELA and ELITE entered the headmistress Office]

STUDENTS:Good Morning!madam.

MISS CAROLINE:Good Morning!girls.How are you doing?

ANGELA:We're fine fine madam.

MISS CAROLINE:WTG!So how may I help you girls?

ANGELA:Actually my friend here is a new comer so I brought her to you.

MISS CAROLINE:Kk great!

ANGELA:Well!madam please I think I've to go to class now.

MISS CAROLINE:Ok! you can go.

ANGELA:Thank you!madam.

[ANGELA Exit]

MISS CAROLINE:You're welcome.You may have your sit.

ELITE:Thanks.

MISS CAROLINE:So what's your name and where are you from?

ELITE:I'm Elizabeth Perry from California.

MISS CAROLINA:So whom are your parents?

ELITE:Well my mum is Katy Perry and my dad is Jackson Perry.

MISS CAROLINE:Oh really!wait a minute.I think I know your parents.

ELITE:Really!

MISS CAROLINE:Yh!Wow you're welcome.It's good to see you.I really know your parents.Your mum and I graduated from the same school.She's a very good woman.All those days and times at school,she's been a very good friend to me.We work as team in academics.

ELITE:Ok! that's nice.

MISS CAROLINE:You really look like her.You took your mum's beauty and your dad's complexion.Your parents are very nice people.Hope you're a good girl?

ELITE:Yeah!I am.Never joined a bad company.

MISS CAROLINE:That's fine.I'm happy to see you today.Welcome to JACKSONVILLE COLLEGE.

ELITE:Thank you.Please if I may ask where's my class.

MISS CAROLINE:Don't worry you are gonna be in the Languages Class.

MISS CAROLINE:[Calling]Mr.Finn,please how are you doing?

MR.FINN:I'm fine madam.

MISS CAROLINE:Please if I may ask are you in your class?

MR.FINN:Yes please.

MISS CAROLINE:Great!actually my precious daughter just arrived in school today,so I need you to call one of your students to come to my office.

MR.FINN:Sure.I'll do that as soon as possible.

MISS CAROLINE:Thank you!Sir.

MR.FINN:You're welcome.

[Call Ended]

MISS CAROLINE:Don't worry I just called your class teacher to send me of your classmates to my office to direct you to your class.So he/she will be in my office by now.

[Knock at the door]

MISS CAROLINE:Please, come in.

[Hilda entered the headmistress office]

HILDA:Good Morning!madam.

MISS CAROLINE:Hilda,how are you doing?

HILDA:I'm fine madam.

MISS CAROLINE:Actually,I want you to direct this young lady to your class.You guys have gotten a new comer today.

HILDA:Ok!madam.

MISS CAROLINE:Lizzy,I want you to be careful with the kind of friends you walk with.This is a college school and definitely you'll be two groups of people.The good ones and the bad ones,it's now your choice pick the one your heart desire.Please take your studies serious okay.

ELITE:Thank you!madam I enjoyed having a conversation with you.

MISS CAROLINE:Same.You're such sweet girl like your mother.Take care of yourself and if anything is bothering you,just come into my office.I'm here always,you can come so that we can talk.

ELITE:Kk thanks.

MISS CAROLINE:Have a nice day,girls.

ELITE AND HILDA:Same to you.

[ELITE entered the classroom,Mr.Finn,their class teacher,was standing infront of the class teaching physics and chemistry]

ELITE:[Timid]Uhm!I'm Elizabeth Perry buh friends call me Elite.

THE CLASS:[Shouting]We can't hear.

LORDINA:Gustav and Jacob,you guys are making noise.can't you see there's a teacher in the class?

[MR.FINN told the students to keep quiet]

[Jacob felt embarrassed and sat down]

HILDA:That's her behavior.She likes quarreling with guys.

ELITE:Sure.

HILDA:I'm Hilda and I'm from New York City,buh I came to Florida because of school so I had to travel all the way from New York City to this place.

ELITE:Oh really!

HILDA:Oh yeah.

ELITE:So do you have a nickname?

HILDA:well you can call me Optimistic Queen.

ELITE:Kk cool.

HILDA:It's ur turn.

ELITE:I'm Elizabeth Perry buh friends call me Elite and I'm from California buh I came to Florida coz of school.

HILDA:So what are your hobbies?

ELITE:Singing,dancing and watching movies.

HILDA:Same.who's your favorite artist?

ELITE:Katy Perry and Justin Bieber.

HILDA:Yh same.

ELITE:Why are we twins?it looks like we're having the same hobbies.

HILDA:What about the scariest movie you ever watched?

ELITE:IT

HILDA:Oh really!

ELITE:Yh it's very scary.OMG.The director is creative.

HILDA:I better go watch that movie.

ELITE:Yh!

HILDA:So do you have a boyfriend?

ELITE:No!what about you?

HILDA:Same.Buh I was crushing on someone.

ELITE:Oh really!so tell me something about this guy you're crushing on.

HILDA:Let's forget about it.

HILDA:Well!is this cutest guy that smells like a cheese and I've been silly crushing on.

ELITE:What's his name?

HILDA:Fredrick buh people call him Freddy.He's the best basketball player in this campus.

ELITE:Oh really!

ELITE:But what?

HILDA:There are a lot of girls crushing on him and I don't think he's gonna give me attention even when I get close to him.

ELITE:why

HILDA:Because a lot of pretty girls have proposed to him and he didn't accept how much more me.The thing is my height,I'm short and I don't think Freddy likes short girls.I'm also ugly too,my dark complexion.Freddy is fair in complexion and she deserves someone who's prettier than me.

ELITE:[Laughing]Lol!

HILDA:Why are you laughing?it's funny.huh.

ELITE:Yh!you're funny.

HILDA:Lol!Buh on the serious note I don't think guys like Freddy like short girls.Buh I've been asking myself this question.Is it a curse or that's also one of God's plans?

ELITE:[Laughing]Stop it girl.So does he have a girlfriend?

HILDA:Naaa,buh I've been seeing that Canadian Lady sitting at the back there getting closer to him.

ELITE:U mean Lordina.

HILDA:YH!But Freddy doesn't like her so why is she wasting her time on him?

ELITE:Kk!the thing is I don't see anything wrong with your facial expression and height.Please stop judging yourself.The truth is there will definitely be love attraction from person to another.There's definitely somebody there who's crushing on you buh you aren't gonna know till they come and tell you one day.Some people feel timid to tell those that they're crushing on about their feelings.Some people think they don't have a nice personality or good looks.So my sis please stop thinking about this prob,you aren't the only person facing this problem.Your true love will come to you one day when the right time comes.Besides,I feel like taking you as my sister.Because you're a nice person to me and these are the kind of people we need in the world.When Freddy doesn't like you,is he the only guy in this campus?there are a lot of handsome guys out there who are looking for real people to them.Love never lies sis.When you have a strong feeling for someone and the person doesn't love,you don't need to force them.All you've to do is to move on with your life.Some people really get time for the those they wanna spend their time with,having conversation with them,calling them,texting of messages too.So when people don't love you,I don't see anything in it making you to feel sad about it.You can't force someone to love you or have feelings for you.So just be yourself and always be happy.

HILDA:Wow!thanks.I really appreciate your words.No one has ever said anything like this to me before.But you just changed me.

ELITE:They can't tell you because they don't love you.Those aren't the real people.They just see you as an opportunity so that they can get whatever they want and get rid of you from their lives.

HILDA:Thanks a lot.You're truly a good friend.Well I thank God sending me a good friend.

ELITE:Halleluijah.Lol.Well I think it's closing so we've to go home.

HILDA:Yh!it's been nice talking to you.

ELITE:Yh!Same.I've to go now my roommate might be waiting for me outside.

[It's closing and all students are to go back home.Elite went to Angela and they picked a car to the hostel]
