Chapter 6

Amelia’s pov

After the recurring dream of the white wolf for a month now, I started experiencing strange changes, sharper senses, distance hearing and unbearable burning in my veins. At first I didn't want to believe it, but as time passed on I realized that my long desired wolf may finally be awakening. But the pains are so unbearable and unpredictable.

I started training myself to be a strong person. I ran in the morning and at night and practiced a few fighting skills I learnt in Blood moon pack. I felt myself getting a bit stronger from the little practice I did daily. I needed to be strong enough if I really wanted to survive in this world alone. I decided to go hunting for food since it has been a long time since I hunted and practiced my artery skill lately. While hunting, I noticed signs like I was being followed. I felt a presence watching my every move. I heard a broken twig, and a faint scent I couldn't recognize. I tried to be calm so that I wouldn't look suspicious. I caught a rabbit and rushed back to my cabin. I breathed a sigh of relief as I fell on the couch. I just kept praying that I wouldn't be attacked that night and killed.

Theodore’s pov

I don't know why I am so restless about her going missing. I could still feel that she wasn't dead. I didn't have a bond with her again but I still felt somehow connected to her. I need to do something really fast about it so she can be found but I can't let Sophia find out about my plans. She will feel guilty again and think that I don't love her and haven't gotten over Amelia. I mind linked one of my trusted warriors to my office.

“Alpha, you sent for me” Dan said as he bowed to him. “Yes, I need you to do something for me with your men, but it should be kept a secret. Even my Luna shouldn't find out about it, understand?” Theodore asked. “Yes Alpha, I understand. So what do you want me to do for you Alpha?” Dan asked. “I want you to go with your men and search for Amelia and I need a positive answer from you. Check every pack and every forest around.” Theodore ordered him. “I understand Alpha, I will do that and give you a reply about our finding Alpha” Dan said as he bowed down. “You may leave Dan.” Theodore said as he turned his chair to face back from his door.

I won’t let anyone have you Amelia. You are mine, even in death, you belong to me. Sophia is just someone I brought to become my Luna so you don't have to suffer. And she is also my mistress but I want you Amelia and I will make sure I get you.

Third person pov

“Why will he reject me? I have done everything for you Adrian, I am beautiful so why won’t you be with me. Why can't I get married to you, Adrian?” Hazel asked angrily. “You can't continue with your obsession with him, Hazel.” Angela told her.

“I don't care, I want him to be only mine, Angela. I can’t stay and watch Adrian engage with other girls.” Hazel said as she started pacing back and forth.

“He can't be yours Hazel, he won't be yours and the better you start accepting that fact, the better for the both of us.”Angela said then walked out of the room.

“ You can only be mine Adrian, i will make sure of that.” Hazel said.

Unknown pov

I sneaked into the Alpha’s suite and entered his room. I started looking for the documents to the contract Theodore was gonna sign with Midnight pack. I finally found it under the pile of files on his desk. I took out the contract,then i went out of the suite. I reached where my master was waiting for me and gave her the contract.

“ I got the contract my queen” The figure said and handed the contract over to her master.

“ You are very smart, thanks for this,” her master said to her, smiling. “I owe you more than this, my queen , for saving my life. I am willing to do anything for you” the figure said.

“ You may leave now, if I need any other thing i will call for you” she said then dismissed her.

“This is just the first step to my revenge. You all will pay for what you did to me.” she said as she left there.

Amelia’s pov

After the day's work and training, I prepared dinner and ate, then I went to shower. The day has been so stressful and frustrating. And I haven't seen one person in this forest. I finally laid down to sleep when I felt a sharp pain all over my body, waking me up completely. I felt my senses sharpen beyond an unbearable degree. My bones started reforming. I fell down to the floor as I screamed in pain. My bones started cracking and I started transforming. Just when I thought I was going to die from the pain, I heard heavy footsteps outside the cabin.

The doorknob twisted slowly. My body convulsed, half shifting, my nails growing into claws. The scent of wild honey and midnight rain hit me hard. Whoever stood by the door wasn't human.

The door creaked open, and before I could even move, red glowing eyes met me in the darkness.
