Message Regarding Trigger Warnings

332 Words
AUTHOR NOTE I am wasting this chapter to convey a decision I have made. There are some disturbing chapters ahead and I have decided NOT to stress myself out and label every potentially disturbing scene for those who may be easily triggered. I’m not trying to be insensitive, however, I don’t get paid to worry about how someone else will react. This story’s underlying message is Love is the essence of Life. I believe I must show you the sick and the twisted in order to properly weave the Magick. Again, I am not an experienced writer. I have always enjoyed writing, but it wasn’t until I had to medically retired from the workforce did I have the time to do this. I can only hope to get better. The sad truth is, all we have to do these days is turn on the news to find horror. There’s currently a manhunt in my sleepy hometown for a man who cut his victim up and attempted to burned the remains. Anyone following the Lori Vallow Daybell case knows of her real life horrors. Continuing to read this story will be considered an agreement on your part that you are an adult and can handle sick and twisted situations. I don’t find it fair to ruin the story for others, nor do I want the responsibility of trying to protect everyone. If counseling isn’t helping, maybe try your local Harbor Freight for some PPE to protect your feelings. Ok, that was a sad attempt at humor. But seriously, you’ve been warned. I hereby release myself from worrying if someone will be triggered. I’m prepared to be banned. There’s always the rainforest and other outlets. I’d love to hear your suggestions on a good, strong name to publish under. My first name is Christy, but that’s all I will tell you. If someone suggests a name I like, I’ll use it if/when I change platforms and/or I get banned so you can find me.
