My Destiny is of a different time

Chapter Five

It's graduation day I am buzzing with excitement me and my whole grade we are finally going to be free of school and from here it's university then the rest of our lives to live. We are all in the hall waiting for our turn to be called up to get our certificate of graduation, my parents are in the audience with the rest of the parents I can see nothing but pride in their eyes my mom is crying and my dad is videoing the whole thing I feel so embarrassed and content at the same time, embarrassed that my parents are doing this in front of my friends but content that they are here and they want to remember this day as much as I want to.

My names get called out and I make my way to the stage and just as I am about to take my certificate a thunderous bang can be heard outside it sticker with so much force that the hall shook, a storm started to range outside blowing hard on the windows the whole hall of people are in a panic of how strong the storm's wind is no one knows what to do, what can we do but stare. The storm intensifies shattering the glass making everyone duck down to protect their bodies, everyone moves away from the wall that is connected to outside, I search for my family tiring to find if they are safe I finally find them in the panic and make my way to them when I just about reach them the brick wall is blown away with so much force we fall back from the shook. We have a clear view of the raging storm, it's then that I hear the voice coming from the storm, it calls my name "Elizabeth it is time you do what you were destined to do its time for you to be reborn and save the Long Dynasty from destruction and death!"

It's like my body goes into a trance I stand up, how I don't know but I do, I start to walk forward towards the storm as it blazes around me like a tornado staying in one place. As I walk towards the storm I hear everything, I hear my friends, my parents, all shouting my name for me to stop, I hear the fear in their voices and it pains me but yet I can't stop I am drawn by the storm it calls my name. "Elizabeth do not fear your family and friends will be fine, the kingdom of long needs you to be there for the war that will happen, come child  "

I continue to walk forward, I felt something when i got nearer to the storm the voice I felt and energy pulsing through my body energizing me. I reach the centre of the storm I manage to look back at the people I love I see their fear, the love they hold for me and their sorrow, I feel tears start to tail down my face, I know I won't see them again but I feel like everything will be okay, I  know it will be okay, call me crazy but they will all be okay i just know it, I trust the storm.

The storm closes off my vision of the outside of the storm and I just see darkness, I no longer hear the wind raging, the trees breaking, the tiles on the roof shattering, everything is still, I feel calm
