"Well that was weird," Ashley said to me when we were inside." yeah that was weird" I was stunned as I thought of what just had happened, I shook it off how could there possibly be a face in the sky It couldn't have looked at me and wanted to tell me something I must be going crazy. Lunch finished and we all made our way back to our classes, during this time the storm only seemed to be more enraged almost like it was sending a warning that something big was about to come like war was about to outbreak, funny way to describe but I know that's what it felt like and that's what it seemed like, it was like the beginning of a battle you see in a movie where the cloud gets more spooky and scary before a battle was about to start. I was distracted for my thoughts as the school bell rang signaling us for the day to be done 'finally' I thought, as I made my way outside the school, it was still bucketing outside and the clouds were no less angry, I had to run to my car to stop myself from being drenched to the bone luckily I didn't park too far from the building. But regardless of that fact I was drenched to the bone not that I mind, I have always liked the rain it's so refreshing. I drove home and when I parked in the garage guess what there was another car parked there and there are only two people that have a key to my house, my parents. Yay, my parents are home just what I want probably coming to moan at me in person. I. Walked into the kitchen and there were my parents waiting impatiently by the seems of it, I forced a smile and said" Mom and Dad to what do I have the pleasure of this visit, is it one of your birthdays and I forgot" my parents did not seem pleased my remark " No it's not one of our birthdays Elizabeth we are paying you a visit to have a conversation with you that is long overdue" spoke my mom. "What could you possibly tell me that you had to come all the way here from the Rode islands? Are you coming to lecture me again insuring I can't just end the call like I usually do" " Sit down Elizabeth we are being serious" my dad said with a stern face which made me realize this I a serious matter and not just a lecture, so I sat down nervously because whatever they tell me I know I am not going to like it one bit? Once we were comfortable on the couches, we just sat there no one wanted to be the first one to speak and break the silence, I was tapping my foot as I always do when I am nervous, I was about to break the silence when my mom spoke" Elizabeth there is something we should have told you a long time ago but we didn't, okay here I start, it was 17 years ago and me and your father were driving from a party with some colleges it was dark out and it was raining hard so we had to drive slowly as to not get in an accident, when we were almost home we saw something in the road up ahead so we slowed down and stopped to check it out it was a basket and as we looked closer there was a blanket inside it so we looked under it there was a crying beautiful baby girl when she cried it was almost as if the sky was crying for her and it was upset that she was upset. I and your father decided to adopt the child as our daughter, you were that little girl we found in the rain, Elizabeth you're adopted"
