On the road to the village of Ukogbon to welcome and name his new baby, Mr friday bought so many items from the city for his wife and new baby, upon arrival joy and happiness filled his heart, excitedly hugged his wife, but he was shock by her reaction, Mr Friday had sent Osamagbe his wife away since she became pregnant and Lazy, he could not understand her and she have no choice than to stay with her mother inlaw, Mr friday had promised to visit very often but he never did till she put to bed.

He realised that he actually wrong her and appologise, promising to go back with her as soon as she gets well, Osamagbe agreed , she was happy to hear she will leave the village again.

mr Fridays mother overhead the conversation ,but she was already use to having her work like a maid who will do all the work when she goes yo the city she ponder, she never leave her to go and be enjoying her sons money in the big city, i hope this girl did not tell my son that we are suffering her here.

Few weeks past osamagbe was now strong enough to do her normal chores except that additional responsibilty of caring for the new born, she pack up to travel back with her husband but mother inlaw refused saing that she needed to wean the baby be fore she will be allowed to meet man again, that was it Mr Friday agreed and left her once more in the village promising yo visit often.

The baby was now nine months old when Mr Friday visited again this time he moved his family to the city , Osamagbe had forgotten the Little English she had learnt before, she only speak her dialect she has to start afresh but at least she was free from village hastle, little did she know that she would soon emback on aonther journey of chird bearing again

Osamagbe Loved city life she would often try to speak english with her husband and at every given opportunit, this often result in an argument as her husband would often feel embarrassed by her in front of his friendbut one thing was sure Osamagbe was hard working now that she is a mother she takes care of the house snd cooks delicious meals always.

Life again was sweet for her, she began to settle in to the city life style again just then another feverish confition that sent her to the village for long this time she had to endure to avoid being dent away.
