The day is bright and fair in Ukogbon village every one is bubbling with life in the peaceful village doing their usual going to farm while the young ones goes to the streem to fetch water, Osamagbe parents had left for the farm leaving and her younger ones. She prepared her favorite meal and dash out to a near by bush for some fresh arange. The clou d began to change and becoming darker this rain will fallshe thought went back home, the rain began to fall steadily going heavier but no wind no storm ,it fell within thirty minutes and stopped, the sky became blue and clear, births began flying chirping and playing in the sky, Osamagbe loves this sight a lot and the smell from the ground. She decided to go for a work down the road before hee parents arrival, while she was going a young handsome man was coming in her opposite direction she became shy and looked backseing hee parents coming back from the farm she ran to welcome them.

Mr Friday Uze is a young man who left the village some years back to the city to learn a hand work, He gained freedom two years ago and had since been working and earning money for himself, He is the first son of his father .

He had been pressured by his parent to come home to take a wife from the village, as a first son of a family in Ukogbo Village you must marry from the village and at a young age too, Mr Friday was only twenty five years old. His father had told him earlier to look around the village to find any girl that appeal to him, At your age i had already given birth to you and your sister, go get your self a wife or i will chose for you says his father.

After the rain on this faithful day Mr Friday took a work in the cool of the day, He hope to walk into success of finding a wife, lost in thought and going look up and saw a young, tall, dark complexion but very beautiful with a long hair neatlypack in african style, He hasted up but the girl suddenly turned back ,he observed and saw her welcoming her parents he recognized the family, he went back home and told his father that he had seen a girl he likes .His father shouted for joy and order a keg of palm wine immediately, Tomorrow by sunset we will knock at their door congratulation my son.

At night Mr Friday lay on his bed but could hardly catch some sleep his mind wandered of the outcome of tomorrow will he be successful, what if the family refuse, what if it successful, he will be a husband soon, will he be able to be a good husband, will he be come a father to a son soon, hmmm he thought but i can wait to father a son.
