I called off training today for obvious reasons. I may not be panicking, but I know everyone else, especially the parents and kids who saw Grey, will be. I’m preparing myself for an onslaught of questions and queries and worried faces when I get back to the office. There’s no way I’ll have time to finish everything I was meant to do today. I’ll have to go and check in with everyone at the hospital tomorrow instead of this afternoon, and someone else will have to do my patrol shift.
