2 ________________ It’s happening again. One minute, I sink into bed, alarm set for an early morning beach run. Next, I’m out like a light. The dreams come... ...and fade away. Hours pass. Then something happens, and while my body is still deep in sleep, lucidity hits. I’m in the Limen, that purgatory between life and whatever comes after. Cross-legged, I sit on the granite platform staring at the curtain of the beyond. A breeze from that far-off place parts it, ever so slightly: glaciers loom and sparkle, and alpine fog stings my face. As the curtain moves, I catch snatches of white and gray-blue sky. Around me, golden firefly specks of life energy hover and twist, rise and fall. It’s like I’m in a shaken snow globe—and just as separate from the rest of sub-corporeal space. Sepa
