Ellie's Point Of View The lights suddenly went out. Darkness covered my vision. I couldn't see a thing in the dark. I felt the tremors deep in my bones. It was enough to evoke the tiniest bit of fear. The growl erupted once again as I turned on the flashlight on my phone and returned the journal to the glass box. The sounds of hasty, yet silent footsteps and faint whispers from outside the office drew my attention. I snuck out of the office, the soles of my feet, kissing the coldness from the tile.
