Episode 4

"Stop" Mom screaming voice dragged me away from my dreams and into reality that she and dad once again were at each other's throats before dad left for work but today it was different the fight was more fiercest and more louder I concluded they were fighting at the kitchen wheb I heard a plate break "stop I know its your money but stop it" mom shouted at dad her voice begging him ti stop but knowing dad he wasn't stopping anytime soon "I broke it you gonna oay for it? No why you don't have money" I  anger I got uo and raced to the kitchen in high speed I've had it with him making us feel small in this house just because his the only who goes to work 

"Dad stop I've had enough from you telling us that we depend on you yes we know that you support us in everyway you can but stop torturing mom with it! She's your wife she has a right to demand your time she has a right to be clingy and you have the responsibility to support us we are your family no one else is gonna support us apart from you be a man and stop being proud of such nonsense stop fighting Mom it's stupid" well I felt more stupid after I said that I ran upstairs I couldn't face my dad after shouting him like that I was ashamed of myself where had my  manners fled? I took shower to avoid thinking about the damage I just did. The house was quite I suspected that dad sent the workers to their rooms because no sound was coming from the kitchen. I wonder why mom and dad chose to fight in the kitchen why? Exposing our family troubles to our workers.

I took a shower preparing to go see Cam at the hospital I wasn't gonna abandone her anytime soon cos she needed me more than ever if she thought I was gonna leave her she should think twice or even three times. I took my car and went to the hospital I thought of making a turn to Cam's house to check on her brother and mother so I did just that and I found her mother packing and her brother no where to be seen

"Hey Mrs Gibson where is your son?" I asked when I found her packing her clothes on top of the kitchen table " I don't know he regained conscienceness and left me here" I raised an eyebrow " you didn't follow him or ask him where his going?" I asked as I took a seat in front of her " No I didn't. He almost killed my husband but as long as his alive all is well I would've had a problem if he died" she said " Why do you normalize death so much in this house" even Cam was so cool woth his brother dying I didn't receive any answer from her mother "Your son was hit on the head what if he has some permanent damage in the brain?" She looked at me with so much pain. " His on my mind right now but I have to face other things as well for example I'm about to be homeless because of him I'm surely gonna be divorced because of him but I can't help but be worried wherever he is you know why? Cos his my son" she said tears flowing out of her eyes "I'm sorry if that was sensitive for you I really am" I saod touching her arm in a soothing manner "Its fine my daughter hates me anyways" she said pushing my hand away softly " No she doesn't she doesn't and she loves all of you even her brother she just hates what he does" she shook her head as if in denial.from what I was saying " its the same thing she hates our actions she hates us" 

" Because of my background she hates me" she said while wiping away her tears " Why don't you explain to her your background?" She once again shook her head "She would never believe me I know" I stood up and went to get some water for her to drink " come on I know her she would sympathize woth you and then understand why you are like this" she took the water " I don't even know why Tyler is like this I know I grew up as an addict but they never saw me drunk or high its hearsay and they believed it Tyler started with bunking school and then drinking now his on drunks are the heavens punishing me?" She asked while seating down " I don't know about the heavens nut I do know that you can help your son" " how?" She asked shrugging her shoulders "I've tried talking to him nothing seems to work" I smiled because I had the perfect Idea " You can take him to a rehab facility and they can help him its the only way because he doesn't seem to listen to anyone in there he will be forced to listen" her eyes widened in surprise " Why didn't I think of that? But wait I don't have the money for that" she said " No I will cover the costs don't worry" she shook her head again "no you can't do that my child I won't be able to pay you back" I stood up and took my glass making my way to the door " It's for free you don't have to pay me" 

I got in my car and made my way to the hospital I arrived and Cam's dad was already awake "Hey guys" I said getting in and sitting down giving them the food I bought "Thanks God their food is terrible" Cam's dad said as I laughed "Can we talk outside?" Cam said in a soft voice I quickly nodded to avoid her dad suspecting tension "Sure lets go" "I'm really sorry for yesterday" Cam said looking all apologetic " Cameron you had me against the wall" I said stating facts " I know but something snapped when you compared me to Tyler" she said looking down at her hands as if feeling guilty "For you to try to hurt me? You need help" she shook her head " I don't need help I just need Tyler and his mother out of my dad's house" I stared at her in amazement she was in denial so bad that she was gonna end up being hurt "Why do you hate them so much?" I asked while looking at her she laughed a laugh full of sarcasm "I hate them yes wouldn't you hate your brother if he tried to kill your father and your mother just cheered him on?" I couldn't believe this " Cameron he was high on drugs instead of hating him you should love him because he seems to need more love than you" she nodded " That's cool if you want to love them go ahead I won't stop you" I couldn't possibly do that I decided to let the conversation go it wasn't going the way I expected "My dad is getting discharged I just need to get somethings from the house can you take me?" I nodded and took my keys. " I'm taking your brother to a Rehab" Cam scoffed " I'm beginning to question your loyalty why would you do that?" She asked me I looked at her watching her expression if she really didn't want me to help her brother "Because its the humanly thing to d-" I never got to finish my sentence when I heard a car hooter coming my direction it was already too late to swerve out if the road and the cars collided together.
