I was so happy to see my mate as he opened the door. I flung myself into his arms forgetting about the others behind me in the large underground safe room. I was so concerned for him, but I knew he was ok through the bond. Several women while in there kept screaming as I was told it was due to their bond being severed as they lost their mates. My heart broke for them as I went around hugging each one trying to bring comfort as their Luna, but I know if I had been one to have had my bond severed there would be no comfort for me. Yet I had to try and be there for them.
A few days later we held a massive ceremony to send off our fallen warriors who fought well to the end. It was very emotional as I had tears silently slide down my cheeks as we all stood there to send them off to the moon God
