In the next two days, it got busy. Everyone was puzzled as to what this special occasion is all about but didn’t question it. They all figured it will be revealed tonight. As I walked around, I couldn’t help but overhear some speculation they might have as to what the announcement could be. I even heard one woman hit the nail on the head as she spoke to her friend as I passed by unnoticed.
“Maybe the Luna is pregnant.” The woman said.
“Oooh, wouldn’t that be exciting?” Her friend said in excitedly.
“Yeah, it sure would be. We need something positive about now.” A third woman said as I finished walking by with a secret smile.
I entered the kitchen which was my destination and found the cook to discuss the menu for tonight.
