I held her as she slept in my arms. It seems it helps lessen some of the pain according to what Ammie has told me. If what I have witnessed is less, then I would hate to know the full-on pain she had suffered. Could be the second bond between her and me that helps to lessen it. I just hope we can break the bond between her and Jacob. And soon.
I felt her stir and then stretch as she begins to wake. “You have a nice nap babe?” I asked as she lifted her head to look at me.
“I fell asleep on you. I am sorry.”
“Don’t be. It was nice holding you. May I ask what Alpha Jacob had to say to you?”
“Well, he ordered me, so I cannot say. But it is everything you already know.”
I nod, “So, he was making sure you didn’t say anything to me about the situation before leaving to come back with me.”
