Chapter 29: The Journey's end.

3488 Words

Third person's POV The war had ended. Yet, there was no song to be sung that day, no smile to be seen. Only griefs and tears for the lost. It was too much for any of them to bear. The largest lost they had ever faced. Even gods or demigods, it was one of the largest war they had ever seen. The funeral was held after that. The Greeks, Romans and Asgardians were burned together, as the bond of brotherhood until the end. Watched by all mythological beings, they couldn't help but to let tears coming down. Then there was the death of their King. It was beyond pain that could be measured. They fought and died for only one man, yet he had sacrificed himself for them to live. Even when they had won, even when the monsters were destroyed and the future would be brighter for demigods
