As Alena rushed Luke to the hospital, the memory of Tyler's final look lingered like a tiny thorn pricking at her heart, tempting her to turn back and check the factory. But beside her, Luke's face was as pale as a sheet. "Thank God you showed up, Alena...I really thought... I thought it was going to be like last time. That I'd never see you again." Her heart softened. She reached out with one hand to gently pat the back of his hand in comfort.
