Asteria POV
Almost everyone from the pack gathered near the lake. All of the wolves surrounding me were curious about the spell I'm going to perform. As I reached the lake I took off my shoes and stepped into the water. It really was a hot spring. I closed my eyes and focused on the powers surrounding me, the wind, the water I was in and the soil under my feet, everything was imprinted with Chaos. I stood there for a while with my eyes closed, taking all the forces around me and then I felt it.
"Those legends are true, Alex." I said and opened my eyes. My mate was standing in front of me.
"What do you mean?"
"This lake was created by my mother. I can feel her powers here." I smiled and tears threatened to fall from my eyes.
