“You have everything? Are you sure that you can travel?” Alex asked while placing my seatbelt in place.
“Alex, I'm pregnant, not dying.” I huffed, irritated by his overprotectiveness.
“I know. I just want to be sure you're okay.” He said, placing a kiss on my temple.
“I'm fine!” I rolled my eyes. “Can we go now?”
“Yeah, we could if Eli wasn't late. Again.” Alex huffed, getting angry at his beta.
“I'm here! Sorry. I overslept.” Eli said cheerfully, running to Alex’s SUV.
“Again?” I yelled while he was packing his bag in the trunk. When he got inside, I turned to the back seat and inspected him. “I swear, if you are late because you were fooling around with some girls, I'm gonna kick your ass.”
