We all stood there, frozen in place. I guess no one saw that coming. I should've known, though. There is always a reason for me to meet someone. A child of two gods always takes a little of their parents' abilities. From my father I inherited his calming aura. It's not as potent as his, I can calm only one person at the time and I have to touch them. The gift from my mother was always a mystery, although even when we were on Earth when I still was a child, I always found myself in the middle of a mate crisis.
