15 FAY I was too warm. I dimly remembered being cold during the night, the icy cave floor sucking all the warmth from me, but now I was hot. Too much so. And the cave was no longer hard, my hips no longer hurting. I breathed in deep, pushing away the remnants of sleep tugging at my thoughts. Waking up was hard. I dimly knew that reality wasn't going to be pleasant, but at the same time, sleep was just a temporary reprieve. I'd had nightmares. I couldn't remember them, but the clammy feeling was still there. The warm ground shifted beneath me and I had to admit to what I already knew. I was lying on top of an orc. I didn't dare to move. Didn't want to wake him.
