20 VRUHAG Everything around me was quiet. I kept my eyes closed and took in my surroundings, pretending to be still asleep. I couldn't hear nor smell the monster anymore. But the fresh scent of the forest was also missing, just an echo of it clinging to my skin. We were no longer in the jungle.
