Renee

Today is my doctor's appointment. I need to find out the s*x of my baby and I'm excited too.

"Mom, can you drive me to the hospital, please ?" I asked as I walked down the steps.

"Alright. Let's go sweetie." she gulped down the rest of her drink down and placed it in the sink.

"Let's us know what you are having when you come back." Sasha yelled as I closed the door. I gave mom the keys and she drove to the hospital.

"I'll wait in the car." I nodded and got out. I walked in the hospital and didn't sign the paper since I had an OBGYN. Then that's my worst nightmare walked in.

"Renee. I've been looking all over for you." I sucked my teeth and went on my phone.

"Why are you here, Jim?" I asked rudely.

"Because I want to see what we are having." he responded and I ignored him if he tried to talk to me.

"Renee." my OBGYN called and Jim tried to help me up and I denied and I picked myself up. We walked into the doctor's room and I sat down on the table while Jim sat next to me.

"How are the Williams?" he asked and I snickered.

"You mean how is Ms. Payne and Mr. Williams? Oh, we're fine." the doctor looked at us and back at the paperwork.

"Marriage problems, huh ? You should see a marriage counselor." he suggested.

"I would but a divorce is much better."

"Ok, that's fine. Are you ready to find out what you are having ?" he asked us.

"Yes. Very."

"Ok, the gel will be a little bit cold so brace yourself." he put it on my stomach and it went numb. Then the screen came on.

"Sir, can you turn off the lights please ?" Jim got up and turned off the lights.

All you heard was the baby's heart beating rapidly. I looked at Jim and he smiled.

"Well your baby is doing fine."

"Can you tell me the s*x please ?" I asked him. He moved around and sighed.

"Congratulations, it looks like you are having a boy." then the doctor went back to turn the lights on and turned off the TV.

"Would you like a sonogram ?" before I could yes, Jim responded before me.

"Make that two please ?" he gave me a paper towel and I wiped off my stomach and stood up.

Renee has gotten more beautiful since the last time I seen her. She is glowing even more.

"Renee, you know I miss you, right ?" she let out an aggravated sigh and turned around and looked at me.

"Oh, you do. But you didn't miss me when you was with that bitch." I sucked my teeth and stood up and trapped her between the walls.

"Look, it was a mistake. I cheated and I'm sorry. Just give me another chance ?" I pleaded and she looked away, avoiding eye contact.

"Look at me, Renee." she stared in my eyes and it was pure hurt and sadness. It hurted her that bad.

"I just can't Jim. I'm sorry but that was the last straw." a tear fell from her eye and the doctor came back in.

"Here you go and see you at your next appointment, Ms. Payne." she walked to the door and I opened it for her.

"Thanks." she mumbled.

"Renee, stop." she stopped walking and turn around and looked at me.

"What ?" I caught up with her and sighed.

"Can I take you out to lunch, please so we can talk ?" I pleaded and she grinned.

"There isn't anything to talk about, Jim. Last time I checked, it wasn't me who cheated." I sighed, completed aggravated.

"Please ? I just want us to have some food and talk it out."

"I don't want to." she complained.

"Why ? 'Cause you don't care or something ?"

"I don't care and I don't love you anymore, Jim." she said lowly.

"If you don't love me anymore, then how come you still have your wedding ring on your hand." she looked down and it was still there.

"I have to go Jim. I have children waiting for me at my dad's house." she made up a fake excuse to leave.

"Well can I see them, please?" I asked and she groaned.

"Fine. You can come to my dad's house at 3 to come and get them. If you are late, then you won't see them." I thanked her and we went our seperate ways.

Renee

"Kids, go get your stuff. Your dad is coming for you." they cheered and ran upstairs.

"Hey dad. Hey Sasha." I said as I sat down on the couch right next to them.

"Hey Renee. So what are you having ?" she asked, being nosy.

"Well, I'm having a boy." I answered and they cheered.

"Mommy, why are you guys making all that noise ?" Hazel groaned as she sat on dad's lap.

"Sorry. Renee is having another child." she got off his lap and held her hand on my stomach.

"Let me guess, a boy ?" everybody was shocked. "What ? Renee does talk loud." then all the kids came downstairs with their little bookbag along with their school stuff.

The doorbell ranged and it was supposed to be Jim. Opening the door, there he stood dressed casually. Like he was going somewhere.

"Daddy." they all screamed and gave him hugs and kisses. They ran to his car and got in.

I peeped the same girl that Jim cheated on me with, sitting in the passenger side. I chuckled.

"You real funny, you know that ?" I said.

"How ?" he asked like a dumbass.

"Because you telling me you changed but still with the same b***h that you cheated on me with." I was about to cry but I don't stress over niggas. "Here." I took off my wedding ring and handed it to him.

"You disgust me." then I slammed the door in his face and walked to my room, ignoring everybody that tried to call me back. I put in some music and went ghost to the world.
