I could tell Renee is still mad at me from yesterday. I kept trying to talk her but she would walk away.

"Hi Renee." I came up behind her while she was cooking breakfast. I didn't get no response.

"Where are the kids ? I expected them to be waiting." I chuckled and no sound came out of her.

"They are asleep. When I'm done here, I will wake them up." I sucked my teeth and leaned on the island.

"Renee, what is wrong with you ? I mean yesterday, you got mad at because I said that I don't discipline children." she finished cooking at looked at me.

"Well this children done sat here and bullied Raniah all the time you were out for your career. Maybe a little slap on the hand won't hurt but you just said no without hesitation. So yes, I'm mad." she walked back upstairs.

Renee

"Niah, baby. Wake up your food's ready." she slowly opened her eyes so they can adjust to the sunlight.

"Morning, mommy." she gave me a hug. "I'll brush my teeth. See you downstairs." I just chuckled because she always do this.

"Reign, Junior. Rise and shine. Rise and shine." I waited for them but no movements. I went to the curtains and opened it so that the sun was bright in the room.

"Mom, give us like 5 minutes." Reign mumbled.

"Okay, that means your food will be aten by me, your dad, and Niah." they both bounced up and ran to the bathroom.

I walked downstairs and seen Jim on the stool talking to someone. His back was towards me so he wouldn't notice I was there.

"It's Renee."

"......"

"Yes that would be nice. She been tripping since yesterday."

"......"

"Okay. For probraly like 2 weeks."

"......."

"Love you too. Bye." he hung up and continued eating. Surprised he didn't noticed I was still here.

"So you love who now ?" he jumped and turned around so fast.

"It's nobody." he mumbled and turned around. I walked up to him and looked at him and laughed.

"So it's nobody now ? I mean you said 'I love you too' so it's somebody."

"IT WAS MY MOTHER, RENEE. HAPPY NOW ?" I just sat there looking dunmbfounded. "It's was mom saying that I should take you to Bahamas without the kids since it's stressing you out." I jumped and squealed and kiss him all over his face.

"Thank you, baby. So when we leaving ?" I said on his lap. He laid his hand on my waist.

"Next week. Knowing how you are when you pack, I said next year." I just playfully hit chest and he laughed.

"Mom, we in the his-house." I hopped off Jim's lap and made their plates. We all sat down and ate like a happy family.
